The world stage right now is incoherent and chaotic. There is fear moving around. I wish to offer you a place to rest, drop into yourself, and encounter peace.  Gratitude to Marina Raye for sharing her music track “Awakening Dream” from the album Liquid Silk.

Hi,

This is Padma and I want to welcome you to Living From the Heart.

I'm just letting you know that I am recording this meditation during one of the most chaotic,

Wonky times I have ever lived through.

And the president has just declared a state of emergency and we are all concerned with this COVID-19 issue.

And so I've been reflecting this week in my work with my clients and also on my own on how important it is to stay calm during these chaotic times.

It's actually the best thing that we can do for ourselves and for everybody else.

Because when you're calm,

You create coherence.

And right now,

The field,

The whole field,

The world stage is fairly incoherent,

Disorganized,

And there's lots of fear moving around.

And I just wanted to offer you a place to rest,

Some place to drop into yourself and feel at peace,

Feel calm.

So I dedicate this meditation to being able to feel calm,

Grounded,

And resourced during these chaotic times,

During these times that are quite unknown,

Where a lot of surrender is required.

And a lot of clarity is helpful.

And clarity arises from calm.

So I invite you right now to please make yourself comfortable and let your eyes close.

Take a nice,

Deep breath.

And take a few more and feel how breath invites you to relax and let go.

Breath invites you to relax and let go.

So with every breath,

Allowing your body to soften,

Allowing any thoughts or concerns about yourself,

The people you love,

The state of the world,

Allowing those to be set aside for right now.

Because taking this time to drop in and down is a tremendous contribution to everyone you love,

To the world.

So feel how everything is beginning to relax and let go.

And I really invite you to notice if your mind wants to start running into the future,

Possibly going in the direction of catastrophic thinking.

And if you have any thoughts right now,

I invite you to take a deep breath and let them go.

And I recognize that this,

This moment that we are presently in,

In March of 2020,

Is a chaotic moment.

And maybe you're listening to this meditation at another time,

A time that for you or maybe in the larger world feels chaotic.

So right now,

I'd like you to drop down into the space of your heart.

That's right.

Drop into the space of your heart,

Letting everything go and resting into that sanctuary,

Perhaps imagining something comfortable to rest on,

Something soft.

Maybe it's the ground,

Soft grass in summer,

Or maybe it's the warmth of sand on a beach.

Or perhaps it's the soft,

Cozy sweetness of your bed or your sofa.

Just letting yourself rest,

Placing a hand on your heart and settle into that space,

Settle into that space.

Breathing.

And if any thoughts should arise,

I want to invite you to possibly draw a dialogue bubble around them and then attach a string to that dialogue bubble.

And now notice how that dialogue bubble with those floating words can be released like a helium balloon,

Being released up and up and up.

And the thoughts,

Any thoughts about anything to do with the future,

Can float away so easily.

And now I'm going to give you a few minutes to rest into your heart and feel the weight of your hand,

The temperature of your hand on your heart.

And I'm going to hold the space here for you.

And I'd like you to recognize that we are meditating together,

Dropping into the space of the heart,

Along with hundreds or even thousands of meditators from around the world,

All of us resting into calm,

Peacefulness together.

And I'll let you know when it's time to come back.

For now,

I'm holding the safe space for you to rest into the calm warmth of your own heart,

The calm warmth of your own heart.

Www.

Mooji.

Org I'm calling you back now,

Slowly,

Slowly,

Feeling your hand on your heart,

Feeling your breath rising and falling,

And noticing how perhaps something has shifted and you feel more calm,

Ease and peace,

And you know that you have everything you need to navigate these bumpy times,

Wacky times,

Chaotic times,

Just breathing and feeling how you can trust yourself,

Trust your heart,

And trust that you are part of a community,

A worldwide community of meditators,

Of lovers of truth,

Of peace and calm.

Anytime you listen to this meditation,

I will be here to hold the space to invite you in to this place of calm,

And anytime from here on out,

When you need to pause,

When you feel yourself getting concerned about the future,

You can just put your hand on your heart and feel how you are held and how this deep well of peace and calm is available to you anytime,

Anytime at all.

And I suggest that you listen to this meditation regularly on a daily basis for some time,

And in between just place your hand on your heart,

And your heart will respond,

Inviting you in,

Inviting you in to peace,

To calm,

Inviting you to take refuge in the present.

Thank you so much for your attention.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for being a part of this community.

I am honored to walk with you through the good times and through the bumpy times,

Sending blessings,

Blessings,

Blessings.

When I started this meditation and realized it was recorded during, and in response to, the height of 2020, my first thought was to turn it off and find something else because it didn't feel relevant, as we've long since gotten past that. Then it occurred to me - that's EXACTLY why I should listen to it - as a reminder that just as I survived those terrifying times, I too can find my way through my present experience that recently felt impossible, and without a solution. I'll certainly be revisiting this meditation many times again. Thank you for sharing!

Thank You so much, Padma. I chose this, because I wanted to step away from some stress I was feeling in the moment, knowing how calming your voice is for me. It was interesting to find it was surrounding the initial awakening two this pandemic experience and now it is nearly 2 years later, haven't gone through a myriad experiences based on that. Still in masks, but at last singing with the choir again, and meeting with some friends, but not with family who I believe are protecting me, I have adapted and weathered pretty well gardening, creating and doing just the kind of thing you're suggesting we do here; meditate and stay centered in our hearts moment to moment. 🙏❤️
