Welcome to this gratitude meditation.
Gratitude is the most effective way to bring about real and lasting change in your life.
Gratitude raises your vibration,
Lifts your spirits,
Expands your awareness,
Changes your focus and invites blessing and goodness into your life.
Wherever you are and however you are feeling,
Gratitude is always available to you.
Now pause,
Breathe in,
Hold the breath,
Exhale,
Let's begin.
Taking a deep breath,
I offer gratitude for this present moment,
For my heart beating,
For my breath,
For the body I live in,
For the place I'm in and for every circumstance which has brought me to this moment.
Taking another deep breath,
I offer gratitude for my past,
For those who have supported and loved me,
For those who have educated me formally or otherwise,
For every gift I have been given and every gift I was born with.
I give thanks for my birth into the time and space in which I chose to enter this reality.
I give thanks for the obstacles and the blessings,
The valleys and the mountain tops of my past experience,
Recognizing that everything served to bring me to this time and space to be the person I am today.
Taking another deep breath,
I give thanks for the obstacles,
The difficult circumstances,
The difficult people who have had a role in bringing me to this present moment,
Shaping my experience and teaching me.
I recognize that some of my greatest obstacles and most trying circumstances have been my greatest teachers.
I give thanks for the lessons I have learned and the lessons I have yet to learn.
I give thanks as far as I am able for these difficult people and circumstances and in this moment I sow the seeds of forgiveness that I may free myself from any unnecessary suffering.
Taking another deep breath,
I give thanks for the future which lies open before me,
For the doors of opportunity currently open to me and for those yet to open.
I ask for eyes to see the abundance waiting for me around every corner.
I give thanks for the people,
The soul connections,
Whom I do not yet know,
Those who will sow seeds of beauty and wisdom in my life,
Which I in turn will pass on to others.
I give thanks for this legacy of human love and connection,
This web of kindness of which I am a part.
Taking another deep breath,
I give thanks for the many ways in which my experience,
My words and actions have shaped and blessed the lives of others.
I recognize myself as a purposeful creative force in the world and I take this moment to give thanks for my legacy as a human being in the many roles I have,
In my work,
In my home and family and in all my relationships.
I give thanks for the earth and her many gifts,
The soil,
The sea,
The sky,
Rainforests and mountains,
Deserts and grasslands,
The plant and animal kingdoms in their great variety,
The air I breathe and the energy floating all around and within me.
Taking another deep breath,
I hold all this gratitude in my heart and I vow to breathe it into my day,
Suffusing my life with its power and blessing.
May I see all I need to see,
Feel all I need to feel,
Release all I need to release and receive all I need to receive.
May I have clear vision,
An open heart and open hands to receive all wisdom and every blessing from this meditation and so it is.
Now take a deep breath,
Exhale and step back into your day.
All the blessings that I bring you this day may be lost and lost.
As they go away,
All blessings and gifts of God may be returned to you.
All that you carry and bested may be added on one piece or another as for that you may give to another.
You
