A prayer of supplication.
We live in an abundant universe.
Yet many of us live with a scarcity mindset,
Hustling for everything we think we need.
Getting by on just barely enough.
Whether that's barely enough money,
Time,
Loving relationships,
Or whatever else we desire and need to live our fullest and best life.
There is no good reason to live this way.
We need to get better at asking.
Unashamedly asking for what we want and need in any given moment.
Let's stop treating the divine like a harsh disciplinarian.
And start acknowledging that we can have whatever,
Whatever we need if we choose to have the courage to ask.
Now pause.
Breathe in.
Hold the breath.
Exhale.
And let's pray.
Divine source of all things.
I give thanks in this moment for my life.
For this infinite universe.
For the air I breathe.
And for all my blessings seen and unseen.
I acknowledge that life is a gift.
Today is a gift.
Each breath is a gift.
I acknowledge the abundance that is all around me.
And I ask for eyes to see it in the everyday.
In this spirit of gratitude and wonder,
I unashamedly ask for more.
In my relationships,
I unashamedly ask for crystal clear communication,
Unconditional love and acceptance,
Fulfillment,
Joy,
Laughter and shared experiences of every kind.
I ask for my existing relationships with my family and friends to grow deeper with each passing day.
I ask for new people to come into my life and bless me with their presence,
Their gifts and their time.
I ask for exciting new connections at work and at home.
I ask that the true light of love be shown in all my interactions with others and that my relationships would be a window to the divine both for myself and others.
In my work,
I unashamedly ask for increase.
Increase in pay.
Increase in responsibility.
In status.
Increase in affirmation from colleagues and superiors.
I ask for my work to be challenging,
Interesting and fun.
I ask for excellent relationships with all my colleagues.
I ask for breakthroughs with difficult colleagues.
I ask for my workspace to be inspiring and beautiful.
I ask for new and exciting challenges.
I ask for motivation to do good work and for rest at the end of the day,
Knowing that the work is done.
In my finances,
I unashamedly ask for abundance.
I ask for money to come to me through any and all channels easily and freely.
I ask for my income to abundantly exceed all my expenses.
I ask for life hacks and breakthroughs which dramatically reduce my expenses.
I ask that I be an excellent steward of all my finances and possessions.
I ask for opportunities and new connections which bring more money into my life.
I ask for my savings to be abundantly blessed and increased.
I ask for all my loans to be paid off quickly and easily.
I unashamedly ask for total financial freedom.
In my body and mind,
I ask for total wellness and healing.
I ask for a vibrant,
Healthy body,
Every muscle,
Joint and bone in perfect working order.
I ask for excellent mental health,
Freedom from anxiety,
Stress and depression.
I ask for energy and vitality,
For glowing skin and hair.
I ask for the ability and motivation to properly take care of my body with exercise and good nutrition.
I ask for deep and refreshing sleep.
In every area of my life,
I unashamedly ask for abundance and I welcome in more.
In the spirit of gratitude and wonder,
I give thanks for all these things which are already on the way.
