A prayer for forgiveness and unity. For the years of silence, Conflict and indifference. Spoken and unspoken. Hurt feelings. Harsh words. Painful misunderstandings. Misrepresented. Unaligned. I offer my regret and my sadness. My willingness to start again. And my forgiveness. As I humbly ask for yours. I commit now to meeting you where you are. Seeing you for all that you are. Agreeing to disagree without judgement. But with two arms filled with grace. I promise to respect you. Even if I can't condone your views or your actions. And I choose the path of love, Peace and reconciliation. Because to war with you is to war with myself. To punish you is to punish myself. And to love and accept you is to love and accept myself. May love win. In the name of all that is good and holy. Amen.
