
Giving Thanks To Your Body, Your Heart, And Your Life
Become one with gratitude as you give thanks to your body, your heart, and your life. This 30-minute guided meditation will expand that feeling of gratitude to become one with nature and the entire universe.

Hello and welcome to open-hearted meditation.
We'll take a relaxing journey into our hearts,
The heart of the Earth,
The heart of nature,
The heart of the universe.
So first finding yourself a comfortable sitting position.
It can be on the floor or on a chair.
Whatever position you choose,
Allow your body to be tall and upright.
Feel your head gently stretching towards the sky.
And feel yourself resting on the ground or on a cushion,
Sinking down into the earth.
Feel yourself arriving.
Just gently giving thanks to yourself for beginning to meditate.
Thanking the chair or the cushion or the floor you're on for the support.
And allow your body to begin to relax.
And let your breathing be slow and light.
Giving thanks to your breath.
As you inhale,
Feel your body relaxing and softening and expanding.
And as you exhale,
Keeping that feeling of expansion,
Allow your body to feel clear.
Like a crystal or like a waterfall.
Allow the muscles in your neck to soften.
The muscles down your back to relax.
With a feeling of gratitude for your body.
Even if you have some stiffness or soreness,
Try to feel grateful.
Thanking your body for relaxing.
You can even start at the crown of your head.
Feel your head softening.
Your forehead.
Feeling your jaws relax.
Giving thanks to your head,
To your face.
And down through your neck and shoulders.
Feeling grateful for the support.
Down through your arms and fingers.
And again,
Feeling grateful.
Giving thanks to your fingers for all they do for you.
And then from your shoulders down through your torso.
Feeling your chest softening and relaxing.
Feeling your internal organs relaxing.
And then giving some thanks to your lungs.
As you breathe in,
Feeling grateful for the air and the energy.
As you exhale,
Feeling grateful for the clarity.
And feeling your kidneys relaxing and softening.
And again with a feeling of gratitude,
Being thanks for all the work your kidneys do.
Keeping your body healthy.
Continuously purifying your blood.
Feeling thanks to your liver,
Feeling your liver soften,
Opening.
Giving some thanks to your liver.
And then down through your back and your spine.
Your spine softening.
Feeling your spine loosening.
And feeling your head and your back and your spine all in line.
And giving thanks to your spine for the flexibility.
And then down through your hips,
Feeling your hips opening and softening.
And that feeling of gratitude for your body go deep,
Down through your legs,
Your feet.
And thanking your feet for all the support they give you throughout the day.
And then just feeling your whole body,
Trying to feel all the cells in your body opening.
Letting that feeling of gratitude go deep into the cells of your body.
And for just one more minute on your own.
Allowing your awareness to travel through your body.
Just giving your body thanks and appreciation and gratitude.
Thank you.
And now gently turning your attention to your heart,
To your physical heart,
Your heart center.
Feeling that space opening,
Softening.
Feel your heart becoming calm,
Clear.
Letting any tension or anxiety or nervousness in your heart slowly dissolve.
Allowing your heart to gently open.
Begin to feel light from your heart,
From your chest shining out.
And giving thanks to your heart,
Tirelessly beating and circulating the blood in your body.
Thanking your heart for its tenderness,
For its resilience,
Strength and courage.
Thanking your heart for its ability to hold all the emotions.
Thanking your heart for being full of love.
Allowing your heart to open even more.
More light,
More love from your heart shining out into the world.
Allowing your heart connecting with nature all around you,
With the trees,
Mountains,
With the oceans,
The deserts,
With all the animals,
Insects,
People on the planet.
Allowing your heart to open,
Connect with nature and giving thanks to nature.
And feeling your heart connecting with the whole earth.
In gratitude,
Thanks for the earth.
Thank you.
For another minute,
Allow your heart to continue to open,
Connect with nature.
Feeling that feeling of gratitude for nature connecting you.

And then allowing your mind to be very quiet,
Feeling yourself connecting with the whole universe,
Feeling grateful for your mind,
For its ability to connect with the universe,
And your mind to be very quiet,
Feeling grateful for your mind to be very quiet,
Feeling grateful for your mind to be very quiet,
Feeling grateful for your mind to be very quiet,
Feeling grateful Allow that feeling of gratitude and thankfulness to continue to expand.
As you merge with the universe,
You merge with love from the universe,
Merge with that gratitude.
As you merge with the universe,
You merge with love from the universe,
Merge with that gratitude,
And then try to feel how grateful the universe is for you.
Try to feel the love the universe has for you.
You can feel the gratitude you have and the gratitude the universe has becoming one.
And for one more minute,
Allowing yourself to settle and relax into that feeling of gratitude,
Big appreciation.
And then from that feeling of expansion,
Allowing yourself to bring your awareness to your life.
Begin to feel gratitude and appreciation for the things in your life.
Thankful for your home,
For your community,
For your friends and family.
Feeling thankful for your work,
Your hobbies.
Think of any area of your life and try to feel gratitude,
Thankfulness.
Maybe there's areas in your life that are challenging.
Try to feel thankful and grateful for those challenging parts.
And also being grateful and thankful for the easy parts.
And then see if you can extend your gratitude to outside of your life.
Maybe if you can be grateful for everyone else's life,
Grateful for all of humanity.
And perhaps even being grateful for the parts of humanity that may be challenging.
And for just one more minute,
Try to allow yourself to feel unconditional gratitude for the Earth,
For nature,
For your body,
For your life,
For the world and for all of humanity.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And now very gently,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your own body.
Back to the room you're in,
To the chair or the cushion you're sitting on,
And turning back to yourself.
Can take a couple of deep breaths,
Letting that feeling of gratitude settle deep inside your body,
Deep inside all the cells in your body,
Becoming one with that gratitude.
Whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes and as you go about your day to day,
Carrying that feeling of thankfulness and gratitude with you.
