Welcome to this mindful tooth brushing meditation,

Designed to help you brush your teeth in a peaceful,

Mindful way.

This meditation is particularly beneficial for people who struggle with aggressive brushing or people who overbrush.

Finding a comfortable stance in front of the sink,

Holding your toothbrush.

When you're ready,

Begin brushing your teeth,

Focusing on the rhythm of the activity.

Easy does it.

Releasing tension in your arm as you brush,

Soft strokes.

Feeling the bristles of the toothbrush against your gums.

Releasing tension in your face and jaw as you brush,

Tension dissipates.

Allowing yourself to relax during this important act of self care.

Easing up on the grip of the toothbrush,

Remembering these are your teeth.

Going gentle as you focus on the rhythm,

Brushing with compassion for your mouth.

With it's best interest taken into consideration.

Balancing the pressure,

Not too strong.

Showing gratitude towards your mouth as you brush.

It does so much for you each day.

Now as you finish up brushing,

Remember you are controlling the controllables in brushing.

So congratulations for that.

Everything is going to be okay.

Brillant found this meditation helful a great reminder to be kind to myself 🙂 The act of brushing my teeth is done on automatic pilot so this meditation has helped me slow down be aware of how I am brushing my teeth but not just that how I am to myself.
