Beautiful soul,

Grief can be such a difficult thing to navigate in this human experience.

I hope in this moment that this guided breathwork meditation can be a source of ease and calm.

I invite you to close your eyes,

Slow your breath down,

Take deep inhales from your nose and deep slow exhales from your mouth,

Allowing the breaths to fill your belly and fill your body.

Deep breath in,

Holding it at the top,

Exhaling fully.

Losing someone you loved so deeply can be immensely challenging.

Your mind searches for the reasons why they're not here anymore and what you can do to bring them back.

Deep breaths in,

Deep breaths out.

Allow yourself to go through those motions.

Allow yourself to be in those feelings of mourning,

Of sadness,

And allow them like a wave and like your breath to come and go.

Deep breath in,

Holding it at the top,

Exhaling slowly.

I know it might not seem like it,

But it's gonna be okay.

It's gonna be okay.

Allow me to give you a really big hug,

Tightly.

It's gonna be okay.

I'm so sorry that they're not here anymore,

But it's gonna be okay.

Deep breath in through your nose,

Holding it at the top,

Exhaling from your mouth nice and slow.

It's gonna be okay.

It's okay to not feel happy,

Not feel joyful,

Not enjoy your life right now.

It's understandable to feel sad.

It's understandable to feel angry and frustrated,

But it's gonna be okay.

Deep breath in through your nose,

Holding it at the top,

Exhaling slowly from your mouth.

There are things in this life that we cannot understand.

There are things in this life that don't make sense to us.

Losing those we love is immensely difficult and is one of those things.

Life is long,

But life is also short.

We are merely passengers here.

We get on and we get off.

Some get on and some get off before we do.

Deep breath in through your nose,

Holding it at the top,

Exhaling slowly.

It's gonna be okay.

It's gonna be okay.

As children,

We were comforted and reminded that we were gonna be okay.

And as adults,

We often don't have someone to remind us that it's gonna be okay.

Allow me to be that reminder today.

Even if things don't seem like they're okay,

Allow the emotions to come and go.

Allow the grief to come and go.

Lean in,

But just remember it's gonna be okay.

We're gonna take one last breath here,

Deep through your nose,

Holding it at the top,

Exhaling slowly through your mouth.

And now taking this ease and this calm into your day.
