Begin now by… Finding a comfortable position.
Let your eyes gently close.
And take a long slow breath in.
And exhale softly,
Completely.
Take another breath in… And as you breathe out,
Allow your body to begin to relax.
That's right.
Now imagine a soft,
Soothing stream of light pouring down,
Down,
Down from above.
A gentle light of deep sleep.
Relaxation.
Touches the top of your head and slowly begins to flow downward.
Relaxing your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your temples.
Feel your jaw.
And clench.
Let it soften.
We tend to hold so much tension there Let it go right now.
This calming light goes down your neck.
Softening your shoulders.
Melting any weight you've been holding there,
Releasing the tension.
In the upper back.
And now the chest.
Feel your heart beating gently.
Feel that quiet rhythm of life.
Within you.
Let the light flow through your spine now all the way down vertebra by vertebra.
Softening your belly,
Your lower back.
Down into your hips.
Your legs,
Your knees.
All the way down to your toes.
Your whole body is soft now,
Relaxed,
Safe and very supportive.
Now bring your attention to the space just behind your back.
Imagine there is a backpack resting there.
The backpack of your responsibilities.
You've carried this for a long,
Long time.
In its presence right now.
It's weight,
It's size,
It's fullness,
Maybe it's heavy,
Maybe it feels overwhelming.
Or maybe it feels almost invisible,
Still present.
Just notice.
No need to change anything yet.
Simply.
Now imagine this backpack slowly opening from the top.
As you look inside,
You begin to see that it's filled with little energy bundles.
Bundles of responsibility that belong to someone else.
Some of them might feel familiar,
Some may not.
Each one is a burden you picked up from someone else.
Now with a deep breath in… and a slow breath out.
Begin to return these packets to where they came from.
Watch as they gently rise up.
Load out.
Flying softly in all directions.
And as each packet returns to its rightful owner,
Say to yourself or aloud if you wish.
With gratitude,
I return to everyone their responsibility.
It's your responsibility and it's your strength.
I have no right to carry it for you.
That's right,
You're doing so well.
Keep letting the packets fly out.
Some quickly.
Exhale slowly.
All of them are leaving you right now.
You might not know exactly who they're returning to,
And that's perfectly fine.
Just trust the process.
Trust that the energy knows where to go.
You're simply the sacred witness to this healing.
That's right.
Let it all go right now.
Until only what is truly yours remains.
Now as all of that responsibility that belongs to someone else is gone from your backpack notice how this backpack feels.
It's lighter now,
Smaller,
More comfortable.
Filled only with your own true personal responsibility,
The kind that aligns with your soul,
The kind that empowers you.
You're carrying only what belongs to you and that feels just right.
And now,
If there was ever a time when you gave away your responsibility,
If you handed it off to others or left it behind out of fear,
Confusion or pain,
Now is the time to call it back.
Say inwardly or aloud.
I return to myself my full responsibility for my life's work.
And my path.
I return to myself my full responsibility for my life.
And my past.
Now feel a gentle magnet awaken deep inside your heart,
A soft pull that draws your true power back to you.
Energy.
Strength.
Ownership.
Feel those fragments returning right now.
Bombing home.
Filling up your chest,
Your body.
Your energy field.
So you feel even more whole and complete now.
And it feels strong and very,
Very balanced.
Now just breathe.
Notice how your body feels now.
Notice the difference.
Or lighter.
Clearer,
More aligned.
This is the feeling of true responsibility.
It doesn't weigh you down.
It lifts you up.
Because it's yours and you're ready for it.
This is your natural state.
Remember it.
Return to it.
That's right,
Let it be your guide.
Now.
Begin to return gently.
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Space around you.
Wiggle your fingers,
Move your toes.
Roll your shoulders.
Take a nice deep breath in.
And a soft sigh out.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Supporting you,
Strong and steady.
And when you're ready.
Can open your eyes,
Bringing back this feeling of balance and calm.
With you.
All year.
Only you.
