Find an anchor to hold you here,
Be it with your breath or with the sound of my voice or with the background music.
I will be calling in reiki energy to guide me and to transmit the gentle calm necessary for you at this moment to enter your transition to sleep.
Be as still as you can.
When you feel the need to move,

Know that you are held up and protected in this sleeping space.

Releasing tension that may be holding back freedom from rest.
Create an empty space and await the flow of peace and relaxation.
Breathe in deeply and sense a gentle soothing wave of energy moving through your body from the opening at your head all the way down and out your feet.
Do not hold on to it,
But let it flow calmly,
Sweeping out thoughts,
Tension,
Discomfort.
Keep this energy flow moving,
Assigning it a color,
Like blue if you'd like,
And allowing that color to change as necessary.
Allow this peaceful movement to release what is it necessary for soothing rest.
Let it flow calmly,

Discomfort.
In time,
Allow this energy flow to settle and slow down.
Eventually resting within your body,
Warming you,
Keeping you grounded.
Allow this healing energy to settle into every space within you.
Let each breath enhance the healing resting energy,
