Good morning,

Friend.

Welcome to your morning detox meditation.

I'm Wanna,

And it's such a pleasure to begin this new day with you.

And that's the key word,

New.

A fresh start.

A chance to release the old and embrace what's possible.

So let's begin together.

Join me in taking a deep breath in… Hold it for a moment at the top,

As if you're at the top of a mountain.

And now exhale,

Riding your breath all the way down,

Letting go of any mental fog or leftover stress.

Take two more deep cleansing breaths at your own pace as you land here fully.

And now,

I invite you to ask yourself a powerful question.

If today were my last day on earth,

What would truly matter?

Where would my attention go?

Would I dwell on worries and regrets?

Or would I focus on what fills me with meaning and joy?

And now,

Take this opportunity to ask yourself,

If I knew my time was limited,

What would I be focusing on?

This perspective is oh so potent.

It helps clear away the distractions and anxieties that often consume us.

Is that worry about your to-do list really worth your energy?

Are the concerns about tomorrow or the past worth carrying like a heavy weight on your shoulders?

If the answer is a clear and resounding no,

Well,

Let it go.

3.

Redirect your energy towards something that does serve you.

It's really that simple.

We just like to overcomplicate it.

Our minds,

Like our bodies,

Thrive on what we feed them.

We wouldn't fuel ourselves with junk food all day long.

So why do we do it with our thoughts?

Negative thinking,

Self-doubt,

And fear may seem like quick fixes,

Guilty pleasures,

But over time,

They drain us of our energy,

Passion,

And happiness.

Okay,

I'll be the first to admit that yes,

I like junk food from time to time.

And sometimes,

I can't help but indulge in junk thoughts.

But when it becomes the norm rather than the exception,

It really starts impacting my enjoyment of life.

And who wants that?

Let's make a pact right here,

Right now,

To do better.

To love ourselves enough to release the thoughts that deplete us.

4.

I'd like you to picture yourself clearing out all the toxic thoughts.

Judgment,

Insecurity,

Blame,

Like unhealthy,

Empty calorie processed food in your kitchen.

See yourself tossing them out,

Making space for what does nourish you.

Yep,

Throw those sugary cereals,

Those guilt-laden worries away.

You can do better.

Now,

Let's repeat this mantra together.

I am not my thoughts.

I am the chooser of my thoughts.

Again,

Confidently declare,

I am not my thoughts.

I am the chooser of my thoughts.

5.

Repeat this to yourself as you continue to get rid of all the garbage that does not serve you and your well-being.

Sense some lightness in your mind.

You're clearing out the mental clutter.

You're detoxing,

Freeing yourself of what does not serve you,

To make space for what does.

Keep it going.

Okay,

Now that your mind is a little more empty and clear,

What do you actually want to stock it with?

Take these next few breaths to feed your mind a good serving of gratitude,

Positivity,

And peace.

To help you with this,

Bring to mind the question we began our session with.

If today were my last day on earth,

What would I be thinking about?

What would I be doing with my time?

Wouldn't you be soaking everything in?

Cherishing every moment?

Savoring the warmth of the sun on your skin?

Noticing the beauty in the smallest details?

Smiling at the simple joys of life?

Expressing love to those who matter most?

Letting go of worries and regrets?

Feeling gratitude for every experience?

Breathing in the present with full awareness?

Forgiving and finding peace within?

Walking around in absolute awe that this all even exists?

What a miracle to be here and now,

On a planet that caters to our every need.

Earth is like no other.

We won the lottery for landing here.

I mean,

Go ahead and live on Mars.

But why not choose to focus like that every single day?

Because in all honesty,

None of us know how much time we have left.

There is no crystal ball.

There are so many people who went to bed last night and never woke up.

I don't say this to scare you.

I say this to inspire you to live more fully while you have the gift of being here.

If I may share the wisdom of one of my favorite authors and spiritual teachers,

Michael A.

Singer,

Feel grateful to death for giving you another day,

Another experience,

And for creating the scarcity that makes life so precious.

If you do this,

Your life will no longer be yours to waste.

It will be yours to appreciate.

Furthermore,

He writes,

It shouldn't take death to challenge you to live at your highest level.

Why wait until everything is taken from you before you learn to dig down deep inside yourself to reach your highest potentials?

If with one breath,

All this can change,

Then I want to live at the highest level while I'm alive.

I'm going to live life from the deepest part of my being.

So,

As the wise person I know you are,

If with one breath,

All this can truly change,

Then wouldn't you want to live at your highest level while you are still here?

Wouldn't you want to live from the deepest part of your being,

And purge from the rest?

The choice is completely yours,

And you make it and remake it in every moment.

Sure,

Just like with your regular diet,

If you slip up,

Be easy on yourself.

You may fall off course from time to time,

But what matters most is that you get right back on track as soon as the next day,

When you get to begin anew.

As we come to a close,

Remember,

You are in charge of what you feed your mind.

Choose to nurture yourself with positivity,

Hope,

And gratitude.

And when negative thoughts arise,

Which they do,

Remind yourself,

You don't have to consume them.

You are the gatekeeper here.

You are the chooser of your thoughts.

Take one last deep breath in with me… And exhale… You,

My friend,

Are ready.

Today is yours.

Take it,

Embrace it,

And make it count.

And let me know what you are feeding your mind today,

And join me again tomorrow for another inward journey,

Sending you love and blessings.

This is such a beautiful meditation. I don't eat junk food but I do have lot of junk thoughts. Why is it that I have no problems giving up junk food and yet I struggle to let go of negative thoughts? The quote from your favorite author was great as well. Thank you, Oana, for another wonderful meditation. I'm going to come back to it again and again to remind myself of what's really important in life. Much love, ❤️🙏❤️

This was a very powerful message. It came exactly when I needed it. I will feed my mind messages of love to myself and looking for the joy and beauty that is all around me. I will remind myself that everything will pass nothing is forever
