In this meditation,
We are going to work with building presence.
Through the breath and the body.
Let's take a moment to get comfortable.
With nothing else to do but simply settle into where you are.
Whenever you feel ready,
You can close your eyes.
And relax your jaw.
Breathing into this moment.
Setting one single intention toward presence.
Allowing yourself to breathe in a natural rhythm.
Setting an intention toward curiosity.
What is it like inhabiting this body?
Simply noticing what is it like resting in the awareness of inhabiting a body at all.
It's something we so easily overlook.
And letting that be.
Enough.
And through that same curiousness,
Taking a simple,
Direct interest.
In remembering.
That there's no other way to be.
And when we sense our own aliveness.
We connect deeply with the inner knowing.
That it all happens here.
Now take a few deep breaths.
Breathing in through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Notice any tension that you may be holding.
You might soften your shoulders.
Unclench your jaw.
Relaxing the hands.
Being in this body fully.
With no other way to be.
Breathing in through the nose.
Embodying this vessel.
Breathing out through the mouth.
With nothing else to do.
In this gift.
We take for granted.
Allowing this breath to sustain us.
Now imagine on each in-breath receiving life into this vessel.
And on the out-breath.
Sustaining life through this body.
Receiving life into this vessel.
And sustaining life through this body.
Letting your breath fall into its natural rhythm.
Resting in the awareness that at all times,
You exist within this process.
Receiving life into this vessel.
And sustaining life through this breath.
Through this body.
Welcoming what enters.
Releasing what lives.
Welcoming what enters.
And releasing what leaves.
There is nothing to resist in this process.
Simply being here is enough.
And there is profound significance in this simple act.
Resting inside the awareness of life itself.
As it breathes through you.
Always here.
Always available.
Always within you.
Your presence is a practice.
Imagine again your whole body breathing.
From the inside out.
As the entirety of this life.
Awakens through you.
Presencing through you.
Without needing to push.
Without needing to pull.
Without a performance.
When you simply allow life to live itself through this body.
And through this breath.
You are here,
Fully.
Each breath is opening and entering.
Releasing.
And letting go.
Opening and entering.
Releasing and letting go and from this place of grounded awareness.
See if you can sense.
The pure and organized order within you.
With every inhale you take in the world.
And with every exhale.
You sustain it.
Through this breath.
Through this body.
Life moves through you.
This body.
This vessel.
These senses.
In this life.
You are already home.
You are already here.
Resoncing.
May you be safe.
May you be held.
May you be happy.
