It is more important to be of pure intention than of perfect action.

Ilyas Kasam The Three Sages of India Three sages of India observed thousands of years ago that our destiny is ultimately shaped by our deepest intentions and desires.

The classic Vedic text known as the Upanishads declares,

You are what your deepest desire is.

As your desire is,

So is your intention.

As your intention is,

So is your will.

As your will is,

So is your deed.

As your deed is,

So is your destiny.

Setting an intention is the starting point of any dream or goal you may have.

It will inspire you to focus on anything you set yourself out to achieve.

It is fundamental to set positive intentions.

Keep your intentions short and to the point.

Your intention shouldn't be more than a sentence long.

Make it short so you can remember it easily and to the point so you can focus on the outcome.

For instance,

Your intention could be a short phrase like,

I intend to practice gratitude today.

There are no limits to the intention you set.

The intention you set does not need to make sense to anybody but yourself.

Setting an intention is a very powerful way to keep yourself motivated and inspired.

It is fundamental to believe in the intention you are setting.

Sit or lay down in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths and set an intention.

As you set your intention,

Feel and believe in the intention you are setting.

Visualize the intention.

Remember,

Anything is possible.

Love this short but powerful meditation. Please don’t be offended, just wanted to let you know that the bell in the end is very loud and startling. I get so lost in the hypnotic music at the end of your meditations but the bell jolts me. Thank you πŸ™πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈπŸ’œ
