You you this session will be a journaling meditation practice you will have two areas to journal about today you can divide your paper into sections or have more than one sheet available to you one section will be for your to-do list any random thoughts that come to mind as you sit down to meditate writing them down will clear your mind to be prepared to explore and reflect today the second section will be where you can write down the affirmation your questions thoughts and answers to journal prompts when you are ready you've gathered a notepad or journal and a pen sit in a place where you can be comfortable as you listen and have both physical and mental space to write as we reflect together before we begin close your eyes and take a few deep breaths you may hold your hands in prayer position and ask the universe God or whatever higher power you believe in for guidance throughout this meditation once you feel your body become quiet and still we will get started open your eyes and opened your mind to hear what will be shared with you today we will reflect on an affirmation and you can pause and write this down I let go of the past and welcome the good things coming my way I let go of the past and welcome the good things coming my way now that you've written it down let's say it out loud together I let go of the past and welcome the good things coming my way as you say and hear these words make note of anything that jumps out at you are there certain things images or feelings invoked as you hear this affirmation I let go of the past and welcome the good things coming my way take a few moments again to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths how are you feeling as you sit quietly with this now we will explore a few questions relating to this reflection you can sit calmly and think about them meditate on them ask the universe God or other higher power for answers and return to do some journaling later or you can take time to journal in this moment feel free to pause this recording as you wish so that this session can give you whatever you need right now I will leave a bit of time in between the questions for you to think right or sit peacefully feeling whatever is laying on your heart and mind right now our first question what did I do well this last year you you you what about the last year didn't meet my expectations you you what things surprised me this last year you you When you are ready Wrap up your meditation by taking a few moments to write down Anything that you'd like to explore further Is there anything else that came to mind while thinking about these questions?

You you As we come to a close bring both hands to your heart space You can bring them into prayer position or rest them on your chest Take one last full big breath in As you exhale let your hands fall down onto your lap Then lower your chin to your chest and open your eyes as You move forward with your day Remember that you are in charge and no one can dictate your path in life,
