Today we will focus on purpose and intention.

We will be journaling,

Affirming,

And meditating,

So be sure to have a pen and paper handy.

Sit in a place where you can be comfortable yet present and aware as you listen.

You can pause the recording if you need.

Before we begin,

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

Once you feel your body become quiet and still,

We will get started.

You can keep your eyes closed for the first portion of our session or you can have a soft gaze out in front of you.

First we will reflect on purpose.

How to live with purpose can be one of the hardest questions to answer.

If you struggle to feel clarity around this,

Take a few moments to think about what makes you feel the most connected.

What inspires you?

And when do you feel the most joy?

We will revisit these in a bit when we journal.

For now,

I invite you to sit quietly giving these things your attention.

What makes you feel the most connected?

What inspires you?

When do you feel the most joy?

Take a few deep breaths as you start to identify your purpose through these answers.

One more deep breath and then we will move forward.

Now we will reflect on intention.

Intention is the commitment to act in a certain way,

Like a seed planted meant to grow.

We can't control the future or the environment,

But we can control how we act in this very moment.

As we increase our awareness and presence,

Our intentions become clearer.

I'm going to ask you to listen for your inner voice of your intention.

What do you hear?

What do you see?

How do you feel?

Again,

We will revisit these in a bit when we journal.

For now,

Sit quietly giving these things your attention.

What is your inner voice saying to you?

What do you see with your intentions?

How does this make you feel?

Take a few more deep breaths as you start to recognize your intentions.

One more deep breath and then we'll proceed.

You can open your eyes if they were closed and grab your notebook and pen.

We will affirm ourselves in living our purpose and with intention.

You can write this down now and you can pause if you need to.

I act with high intention and purposeful awareness.

I act with high intention and purposeful awareness.

Now that you've written it down,

Let's say it out loud together.

I act with high intention and purposeful awareness.

As you say and hear and see these words,

Make note of anything that jumps out at you.

Are there certain things,

Images,

Or feelings that come to mind as you hear this affirmation?

I act with high intention and purposeful awareness.

Take a few moments again to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

How are you feeling as you sit quietly with this?

Now we will explore a few questions relating to this reflection.

You can sit calmly and think about them,

Meditate on them,

And return to do some journaling later.

Or you can take time to journal in this moment.

I invite you to pause this recording as you wish so that this session can give you whatever you need right now.

I will leave a bit of time in between the questions for you to think,

Write,

Or sit peacefully,

Feeling whatever is laying on your heart and mind right now.

What are you doing when you feel the most connected?

What or whom are you completely inspired by?

What are you good at that you also enjoy?

What are you good at that you enjoy?

What do you hear from your inner voice about your intention?

What are you good at that you enjoy?

What do you see?

Where are you and what are you doing?

How does your intention make you feel?

What are you good at that you enjoy?

What are you good at that you enjoy?

When you are ready,

Wrap up your meditation by taking a few moments to write down anything that you'd like to explore further.

If there's anything else that came to mind when you were thinking about these questions,

Any specific words or thoughts you'd like to hold on to,

Is there anything that came to you during this time that you would like to move forward with in your daily life?

As we come to a close,

Bring both hands to your heart space.

You can rest them on your chest.

Close your eyes as you take one last full big breath in.

As you exhale,

Let your hands fall down onto your lap.

Lower your chin to your chest and open your eyes.

As you move forward with your day,

Remember that you are living with purpose and intention.

I truly enjoyed how you guided me in this meditation so easy to follow along with you it was absolutely beautiful. The reflection of our thoughts was very helpful especially when they are written down instead of floating in my head from one thought to the other at least for me. Thanks 🙏 again I appreciate your gift.
