Welcome to your meditation.

My name is Jordana and I'll be your guide as we dive into practice together.

This meditation focuses on finding ease and clarity through what may otherwise feel like a challenging transitional time in your life.

Transitions often bring about swings in mood as we try to get grounded in something or somewhere that is new to us.

This track guides you through a supportive space and helps you as you continue to light your own path forward.

Find your most comfortable meditation position.

If you're seated,

Maybe you're up on a pillow.

Cross your legs gently underneath you.

If you're in a chair,

Coming to the edge of the chair,

Planting the feet firmly into the ground.

Your hands can rest in your lap.

Let your shoulder blades melt down your back so the spine can lengthen.

Find a settling in your body.

Give any heaviness,

Any weight you carry.

Give it to the earth.

Welcome a stillness into your body.

Stillness,

Groundedness,

As though your spine could root down into the center of the earth.

There is a certain kind of silence in your body.

There is a certain kind of strength that supports you here.

Take a deep inhale through the nose.

And exhale out your mouth.

And exhale out your mouth.

Take an inhale through the nose.

And exhale out your mouth.

And exhale out your mouth.

Allow each breath that comes to relax you deeper.

Open up a sense of support and well-being.

As you return to your natural relaxed breath pattern,

Gently closing the mouth.

Let this breath remind you of simplicity.

You don't need to make anything happen.

Just as the breath flows in,

The natural breath flows out.

Following your breath,

Allowing yourself to relax further.

With any transition in our lives,

We can feel waves of confusion,

Anxiety,

Or unrest.

This is normal.

In our meditation practice,

We can take a step back.

We can observe it.

We can withhold our judgment.

Consciously,

We can transform unrest.

Opening to being soothed,

To being nurtured,

To being clear.

On the next breath in,

Picture a clear energy entering the body through the nostrils.

Clarity.

Breathing out,

Let residual feelings of unrest or confusion exit the body.

Breathing in,

Clarity.

Breathing out,

Confusion,

Worry.

Inhaling,

Clarity.

Exhaling,

Confusion,

Worry.

Inhaling,

Clarity.

Perhaps now you can feel clarity spread through the body.

Maybe there's a feeling of lightness or a visual of a clear glistening light reflecting on the surfaces of your body.

Notice any sensation.

Feel it in your body.

It's time to bring to mind the transition you face in your life right now.

Maybe it's a job that you're leaving,

A place you're departing,

A relationship you held that is shifting.

Make no matter if it feels positive or negative.

See if you can bring it into your mind.

With neutrality,

See it merely as information.

With every piece of information we gather from our lives,

Experiences we've had,

Jobs we've held,

Places in the world where we've danced and played,

Worked,

And lived,

See it as a place where we can be.

Places in the world where we've danced and played,

Worked,

Lived,

Vacationed.

There's always positive and negative that we'll interpret.

With this transition,

We shift ourselves into a place of gratitude for what has been.

And we open up to what will become.

This transition in your life right now,

What did you love about where you're transitioning from?

Take the next few moments to fill up with what you loved as if you were writing a love letter in your mind.

What can you appreciate?

If any negative thoughts come up,

Notice them,

Just let them drift away.

Come back to the mental love letter,

The words for the place or the experience with benevolence.

I'm coming back to the clearing breath,

Breathe in through the nose,

Breathe out through the mouth.

And as if to fold this love letter now,

Maybe tying a bow around it,

Visualize its completion.

Welcome in a sense of contentedness with this completion,

A confidence within you.

As you take a step into something different,

Recognize yourself,

The courage that it has taken you,

Moving from what's familiar into something lesser known.

There's purpose for you here.

Imagine now a light forming in the center of your chest.

It's warm,

Inviting soothing,

Imagine now a light forming in the center of your chest.

Inviting,

Soothing to your body and your soul.

As you inhale,

Feel it expand out.

Feel the sensation of care moving through your body.

Exhale into a state of peace.

Taking a moment to direct inspiration towards yourself.

Into this warm opening in the center of your chest,

Repeat these words in your mind.

May my life be filled with happiness.

May I be healthy body,

Mind,

And spirit.

May I be bold and strong even in the face of challenge.

May I find ease and grace through this transition.

May I know how deeply supported and cherished I am.

Placing a hand now of understanding over your heart.

Breathing into this space.

Bring these words into your mind.

Thank you.

I love you.

I trust you.

Allow the mind to relax.

You can let go of any need to hold a thought or do anything at all.

Just being here.

And if you like,

Whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes and return.
