Quit Smoking With EFT Tapping
In this EFT Tapping meditation, I help you release and process the emotions that may stop you to finally quit smoking. Always keep in mind your own thoughts and feelings around smoking and replace my words as needed. Do this as many times as you need on your journey. Music: Chris Collins indiemusicbox

Welcome to your EFT Topping Meditation to help you quit smoking.
This is not meant to be the only thing that you do on your journey to quit smoking.
It's just meant to help you with some thoughts and feelings that may come up for you that stunt you from fully quitting or stunt you for feeling okay to not smoke anymore.
So just beforehand,
Think about all the feelings that come up for you that make it hard for you to quit smoking.
And I want you to go ahead and grade all of those feelings from a 1 through 10,
10 being the strongest.
And we will work on bringing those numbers down as we tap.
I'm going to tell you each tapping point and all you have to do is follow along and then I'm going to say a phrase afterward and you can either feel the phrase that I say or you can say it aloud after me.
So let's begin by taking a deep breath in and out.
Start tapping on the side of your hand.
Even though I have a hard time or have had a hard time quitting smoking,
I fully love and accept myself.
Even though it sometimes feels impossible to quit smoking or to quit smoking for good,
I fully love and accept myself.
I know that I can get to a place where I forgive myself for my past and move forward as someone who no longer smokes and I fully love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I don't want to smoke anymore.
Now on the side of your eye.
I don't want to use smoking to reward myself anymore.
Under your eye.
I don't want to use smoking to numb myself anymore.
Under your nose.
I don't want to hide behind my smoking habit anymore.
Under your mouth.
None of this feels good and I want to release all of these feelings.
Collarbone.
Sometimes I feel mad and upset with myself for ever smoking.
Under your armpit or still wanting to smoke.
Top of the head.
And I want to forgive myself and release these thoughts that I have.
Take a deep breath in and out.

Sometimes I feel like smoking is part of my identity.

And I want to let that go.

Okay that is the end of this EFT tapping meditation to help you quit smoking.
You can go ahead and regrade yourself on any of the feelings that come up that don't help you to quit smoking or to continue not smoking.
Go ahead and just think about those feelings that come up for you that you thought about at the beginning and I want you to now grade how strongly they feel from a one through ten.
Ten being the strongest.
The goal with this meditation was to really allow that number to come down and you can feel free to repeat this as needed and even do this every day or even twice a day to remind yourself of all the reasons that you want to quit smoking if that is a goal that you have in your life.
I want to thank you so much for listening today and I hope you have a great rest of your day.

As a professional quitter, I have to say that you nailed it on a lot of emotions and feelings that barricade me from quitting smoking. Will be using this repetitively to help in my stop smoking journey. Thank you β€οΈπβ€οΈ

First session done. Something came up during, memories of my early days of smoking. All this time I was connecting smoking to the neurological aspects and the addictiveness, not even considering why I started smoking when I was a teenager, and why I started again after quitting. There was something to numb, something to hide myself behind. Looking forward to explore that further, so thank you! π A couple of suggestions: longer pause between the breathing in and out, and more time to sit with the feelings around smoking at the beginning of the session.

Thank you for this. I never heard of this method. It reminds me a bit of emdr. I'll come back to this when I'm extremely craving to smoke.
