Welcome to You Are Detaching From Your Identity,

EFT Tapping Meditation.

This meditation is going to be really good for you if you feel like trying to identify yourself in any way really puts a strain on you and really isn't helpful to you.

Some people find that having a specific identity is what they needed and other people find it to be super restrictive.

So if you are one of those that feels like it's just super restrictive to always try to define yourself,

Then this is really going to help you.

So I want you to go ahead and grade yourself on how restricted you feel right now in your identity and how you're trying to identify yourself from one through 10,

10 being the most restrictive.

And we're going to work on that number as we tap and hopefully our number will go down as we regrade ourselves at the end.

So you can go ahead and get comfortable and just think about everything that comes up for you right now as we're talking about this topic.

And as we're tapping,

You just need to follow me as I tell you which points to tap on and just allow yourself to feel the words that I say or you can even say them aloud after me,

Whatever works best for you.

And just also allow anything else to come into your mind that comes into your mind as I'm saying these phrases and as you're tapping this energy through your body.

So go ahead and get comfortable and we're going to begin by taking a deep breath in and out.

Start tapping on the side of your hand.

Sometimes I feel like I have to identify myself,

But I don't know who I am,

But I fully love and accept myself anyway.

Sometimes I put so much pressure on myself to understand who I am when I don't know,

But I fully love and accept myself anyway.

I know I can get to a place where I accept not knowing fully who I am and not being okay.

And I fully love and accept myself.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow.

I don't always know who I am.

Side eye.

Sometimes I feel like I have to define myself.

Under eye.

Sometimes I feel like I have to label myself.

Under nose.

And I hate that.

Under mouth.

Because sometimes I feel like I don't know.

Collarbone.

And I feel lost.

Under your armpit.

And I want to release that.

Top of the head.

I want to let go of the need to always have a specific identity.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Eyebrow.

I want to know that it's okay if I don't know who I am.

Side eye.

I want to know that it's okay to not fully know my identity.

Under eye.

I don't always feel that way.

Under nose.

I don't always know that it's okay.

Under mouth.

And that feels bad.

Collarbone.

It puts so much pressure on me.

Under your armpit.

And I want to let that go.

Top of the head.

I don't want to carry all this pressure anymore.

Take a deep breath in.

And out.

Eyebrow.

What if I could just recognize that I'm always changing?

Side eye.

What if I could recognize that I don't have to fit in one specific box?

Under eye.

What if I no longer felt the need to know exactly who I am in this moment?

Under nose.

What if I could be multiple things?

Under mouth.

What if I could just be one thing if I wanted to?

Collarbone.

What if I could be anyone or anything that felt good to me?

Under your armpit.

What if there were no rules and no boxes that I had to fit in?

Top of the head.

What if it was okay to just be me?

Go ahead and take a deep breath in.

And out.

Eyebrow.

I allow myself to be who I want to be.

Side eye.

I allow myself to do the things that feel good to me.

Under eye.

I allow myself to not have to fit into one specific box.

Under nose.

I allow myself to fully express all the things that I love.

Under mouth.

I allow myself to just follow what calls to me.

Collarbone.

And not to worry about what that means.

Under your armpit.

Or who it means that I am.

Top of the head.

Because no matter what,

I am me.

Take a deep breath in.

And out.

Eyebrow.

My identity is me.

Side eye.

I can be whoever I want to be.

Under eye.

I can also change whoever I want to be.

Under nose.

Who I am doesn't have to mean anything to others.

Under mouth.

It just has to feel good to me.

Collarbone.

And if I don't know who I am right now.

.

.

Under your armpit.

That's okay.

Top of the head.

I give myself grace to continue to do the things that I love.

Take a deep breath in.

And out.

Eyebrow.

It's okay if I feel lost sometimes.

Side eye.

It's okay if I don't always know who I am.

Under eye.

As long as I'm being true to me.

Under nose.

I don't need to know everything.

Under mouth.

It's okay to not know everything.

Collarbone.

It's okay to just figure it out as I go.

Under your armpit.

It's all okay.

Top of the head.

It's okay for me to just be me,

No matter what that looks like.

And I fully love and accept myself.

Take a deep breath in.

And out.

Okay,

That is the end of this EFT Topping Meditation.

If you want to go ahead and re-grade where you felt within your identity from one through ten.

Ten being the most restricted and determined and confined to having to identify as something or someone specifically.

And go ahead and see if your number went down at all.

See if you feel a little more free in knowing that you don't have to have a certain identity.

You don't have to even define what your identity is right now.

No matter where that looks like for you.

Maybe it's your sexuality.

Maybe it's your job.

Maybe it's like your purpose in life.

You don't have to define anything.

You can just allow things to change and flow.

And you can fit into one box one day and one box the next day and that's okay.

You don't have to worry about how that box changed or how you need to do the things that keep you fitting in that one box that you started with.

Like you don't have to.

So hopefully this meditation really helped you in detaching from that need to have to identify yourself and to have to fit in a specific box.

Because we don't have to.

Nobody has to.

For some people it makes them feel better and for others it doesn't.

And if it doesn't make you feel better to fit into a specific box then don't worry about it.

And so I really truly hope this helps and if you need to come back and do this over and over again that is totally fine.

You can do this every day if you feel like it would make you feel good in the morning or at night.

And I really hope that you have a great rest of your day.
