Heal anger,
Guided meditation,
Calm angry outbursts and release pent up anger.
Welcome,
I'm Nikki Sutton.
Please refrain from listening,
While driving or doing anything else.
Make sure you'll be undisturbed and lay or sit in a very comfortable position with your head and shoulders supported.
Just allow your eyes to begin to close.
Blink them a few times as they close.
Now as you get comfortable,
I'll outline what we're going to do today.
Let's approach healing threefold.
Firstly,
There are usually reasons why we are more prone to becoming angry.
So let's try to heal and release some of these,
Without going too deep into specific memories right now during this short recording.
And secondly,
We'll release anger in the form of one type of animal and welcome a new animal guide which represents calmness and composure.
Then,
We'll foster those calm,
Level-headed feelings for you to use in situations moving forward.
Here we go.
If visualization is tricky for you,
Then use your sense of just knowing as to what you're experiencing.
Alright,
In a moment,
I'll ask you to take three slow,
Deep breaths deep into your belly so that your belly expands.
This way of breathing promotes relaxation.
Okay,
Inhale for me.
Go ahead.
And exhale,
Releasing everything that would be beneficial to release right now.
Feeling the muscles all over your body melting into relaxation.
And another deep breath in.
And exhale any tension,
Any stress that you may have been hanging onto.
Let it all go.
Lovely.
And one more big inhale for me,
Breathing in all love,
All positivity.
And breathe out as this high vibe circulates through you and washes away anything else you don't need.
Wonderful.
Moving into a very pleasant,
Very calming sense of well-being now as you relax down,
Down.
Hands and shoulders becoming floppy.
And your facial muscles,
Including your jaw,
All totally relaxing now.
Sometimes we get angry in situations where we're not coping so well.
Something triggers our feelings to burst forward.
Oftentimes our anger is rooted in the past due to events or circumstances that were detrimental to our well-being.
Those events may have reduced our ability to manage in certain situations today,
Increasing the likelihood of our anger coming out.
So let's release symbolically some of these events of the past,
Making a statement that those memories will not dictate how you feel and react today.
Imagine for me that you're sitting in front of a flame,
A candle with a flame gently burning right there.
And you can feel happy about this because this flame is here to take away your anger by releasing you from those things of the past which need to be released.
To help you feel calm and in control of those situations where you need to retain your calmness and control.
All those memories and the feelings too,
To do with any events and circumstances,
Perhaps what others said or did,
Or whatever happened.
See or sense all those memories flow into the flame in front of you now.
Any memories that caused you fiery emotions,
See them flowing into the flame.
You may have passing flashes of these memories,
But no need to linger in them right now.
Just allow them to leave your mind and body.
Whatever they look like,
Perceive them flowing into the flame now.
And this symbolizes cutting the link between past events and any resulting unpleasant emotions today,
Leaving you feeling calm and balanced.
Those old feelings of events and circumstances leaving you now into the flame.
And the last ones,
The last memories entering the flame now.
Perceiving the past with forgiveness if you can,
Or allowing yourself to release what you need to release.
And please go ahead,
And however you want to do it,
Blow out the flame,
Or pinch it out with your fingertips.
Please go ahead.
And this signifies the flame of any anger being extinguished now,
Leaving you able to approach any situation with ease and calm and balance,
And extinguishing any residual fiery feelings that you may be hanging onto.
Moving into peace and composure now.
And having worked on releasing the past now,
Let's see how to approach the present.
Try to imagine or remember from what part of your body would your fiery feelings come from.
Without experiencing the feelings,
Where would you feel them the most in your body?
It might be your stomach,
Perhaps the chest,
Or maybe the shoulders.
Okay,
Sense now that there's a gateway in this area of your body.
And behind this gate is an animal which represents how you've been feeling.
Perhaps a lion,
Or a wolf,
Something like that.
Which animal is it behind the gate?
Maybe you hear it roar,
Or making whatever sound it makes.
Empathize with this animal,
And know how it feels sometimes,
But no need to feel these feelings yourself,
Because you have become pure,
Peaceful awareness outside of any strong emotions looking in.
The animal holds these feelings,
And it's about to leave.
So open the gate now,
Wherever you perceive it on your body,
As the animal steps out.
Leaving you now,
No longer part of you.
Watch it leave,
Perhaps away into nothingness,
Or heading to its natural habitat elsewhere on Earth,
Away from your mind and body.
It's left you,
And it's finding its own peace in a better place,
Forever.
The gate is closed and heeling over,
And it's time to welcome a new animal,
Which sets a wonderful example for you and everybody,
A kind of energy you can adopt.
See or sense such a peaceful animal coming towards you.
It could be a dove of peace,
Or a strong and dependable horse,
A cheeky monkey perhaps,
Or a wise old elephant,
A graceful swan,
Or the gentle herbivore,
The panda.
Or you could even welcome the bald eagle,
Soaring over and seeing everything from a different point of view,
A symbol of peace.
Whichever it is,
Sense or perceive your new animal and feel the clarity,
Balance,
Peace and contentment it represents.
A mediator,
A peacemaker energy,
Calm and wise.
As it arrives with you,
Welcome it into your heart as it joins with you.
How good this feels.
And in all the situations moving forward,
No matter who's involved,
Or how trying they may be,
Or whatever has gone on,
You'll share in the energy of your new animal.
And stay relaxed,
Find solutions,
Keep composed and help situations,
Finding the most positive,
Constructive,
Understanding and forgiving way.
Becoming aware of your feelings as they're happening and choosing to take the path of peace and calmness and tranquility.
Wonderful.
Okay,
Find yourself now in the most beautiful and peaceful place imaginable.
A location or space which you know replenishes you.
The most blissful,
Joyful place that you'd ever wish to be and it's unique to you.
Observe all around.
Sense what it's like here and if you can see the colours and shapes and whatever is around you.
It might be somewhere you've been before or somewhere new.
It could be in nature or somewhere indoors or outdoors.
Just your most favourite place.
What does it feel like to be there in your most blissful paradise?
This feeling,
You can take it with you in your daily life and remember it when you need to feel calm.
And you can return to this place anytime you need to and relax everything away.
It's only a thought away and just a moment of peacefulness is enough to reset the emotions.
So if you feel any intense emotions bubbling up,
Return your mind to this beautiful place just for a moment.
Feel the pleasant calming feelings here.
Feeling peacefulness,
Balance,
Understanding and forgiveness.
Helping yourself and others.
Take a few more moments to rest in this beautiful place of yours,
Safe and cared for.
Moving forward feeling renewed and optimistic that you're becoming the absolute best you,
You can be.
And you can open your eyes when ready.
Thank you for taking this guided meditation with me today.
Much love.
Thank you.
