Please refrain from listening while driving or doing anything else.

Make sure you'll be undisturbed and lay down in a very comfortable position.

To start,

You can allow and give yourself the permission you need to love and accept yourself and begin to relax.

Soon you'll be welcoming sleep.

So in a moment,

I'd like you to close and open your eyes a few times.

And each time you do so,

Your relaxation will double and your readiness for sleep will double.

So just allow your eyes to close now,

Letting every muscle in your body become so relaxed from head to toe.

Bring on that relaxation and open your eyes and close them,

Doubling your relaxation.

Wonderful.

And all your muscles are letting go of everything.

Melting down,

Down into the bed and open your eyes and close them,

Doubling your relaxation.

Each time those eyelids grow heavier and you become even more ready for a deep and restful sleep.

And one more time,

Open your eyes and close them,

The muscles all over your body,

So deeply relaxed now as you journey towards sleep.

Before you make the changes you desire in your life to lose weight and become slimmer,

Invite yourself into love and acceptance.

Love for who you are,

And start from there,

So you've decided to become your desired weight,

To become slimmer,

Healthier,

And you can do this.

It's like a part of us wants to snack or have larger portions of food and another part of us says,

No,

It's too much or it's unhealthy.

We end up on a constant push and pull in two minds.

So let's unite these parts of you for it's usually the part that needs love,

Reassurance and healing the most,

That tends to have cravings more.

And I might say the word weight,

Like reaching your optimal or desired weight,

But it's less about weighing yourself and more about becoming the version of you that makes you feel most free to be you.

It's finding yourself at the size which makes you most happy.

Although your happiness is not dependent on your size,

You can find your most optimal you who is happiest.

In finding yourself,

You need not seek more food for you are whole and complete without the pastime,

Comfort or reward of food.

And it's not a stress reliever either.

For your wholeness,

Your wondrous beingness as a truly magnificent being are your comfort,

Pastime and reward.

You can self-soothe any stress through self-care instead.

The answers are within you.

The hope and effortless self-control are within you.

You have everything you need within you.

Your body feeling so good and resting so peacefully.

And as you drift into your sleepy dream state,

Feeling so secure and content,

If my words start to become distant,

Sounding far away as you drift off to sleep,

It's okay because your subconscious mind is always listening even during sleep.

And as your mind wanders around,

Just let it arrive at a younger you,

Perhaps from years ago,

A much younger you it could be or maybe not so long ago or somewhere in between.

Is there a part of you that seems to want to snack and eat more than the rest of you?

More than the conscious,

Knowledgeable and healthy you of today?

Is there a younger part of you that needs love,

Reassurance,

Comfort and understanding?

Just begin to sense or see them within your mind's eye or simply feel their presence.

Sense them there.

How old do they seem to be?

This younger version of you.

Sense them with you,

Within you.

What is it that they need?

This younger part of you from days gone by.

Do they have something to say?

Listen now.

What can you say to reassure them that everything will be well?

Even as you drift off to sleep,

Allow your subconscious mind to listen to and care for your younger self.

So embrace this younger you now and tell them you love them.

Let them know that you've got this,

You're taking care of them now and that their comfort and care no longer comes from food.

It comes from your love moving forward and forevermore and that this younger you no longer needs to ask for extra food,

For snacks or anything unhealthy.

That the you of today can consciously choose what to eat.

The you of today is now in charge.

And what a great relief it is to accept and integrate this younger version of you with love and care,

Compassion and comfort.

They return to within you now to live in your heart always.

And it's you,

The you of today,

Who gets to choose how much,

When and how you eat.

You can choose and this choice will be easy.

You are in seamless control of your intake of food,

Healthily,

Confidently,

Happily and enjoyably.

Feeling so calm and relaxed when you do so,

Free of any stress or tension.

And if you go to grab a snack that you don't need or could do without,

You can easily notice yourself experiencing this process and divert your attention to something else,

A pastime,

A focus,

Self-care or something else and your wellbeing remains intact.

Know that you're doing well.

You're always in effortless control.

And if you happen to be truly low on energy,

You prefer to reach for healthy and natural foods in just the right amounts for you.

Relaxing more and more now,
