I welcome you to this Yoga Nidra for Rudaya meditation.
I invite you to be guided effortlessly by my voice,
To profoundly relax the body,
To merge with your heart where you can bask in the joy of coming back home.
You might prepare your cozy Nidra cocoon now by laying down either in a sweet supine position or a lounging alternative,
Using blankets,
Cushions or bolsters that bring more comfort and ease to the physical body.
If it's daylight you might like to wear a blindfold or draw the curtains and then take a few moments to adjust the head,
Shoulders,
The arms and legs.
Could you sink more into the ground beneath you,
Allowing your body to be held and supported by the earth below and then closing your eyes.
This journey of deep restorative rest takes you beneath the layers along the way for total heart immersion.
So there's nothing to do but listen,
Becoming more receptive and more porous to light up the brain's frequency,
Stimulating strong latent mental potential to induce the brain's rhythms to synchronize with the rhythmic pulse of the heart.
Just as the subtle force of electricity travels through wires to light up many beautiful things,
The heart imparts sentiments to the senses.
We'll begin now by becoming more interested in sensory sensations while remaining in stillness.
Turn inward behind closed eyes,
Soften away from the outside to inside,
Softening your brows and temples to relax and become an inner seer.
Allow your awareness to float to the chest,
Center inside the chest,
Heart lighting up the room of your being.
Notice what you notice,
Perhaps the joy and intimacy of coming back home in the heart,
Being in the here and now,
Saturating in the present moment,
Nirvana kaya,
Imagining the breathing cycles to slow down naturally,
The breathing to become very light.
Let there be short pauses of around one second after inhalation and after exhalation,
Awareness of gaps between thoughts,
The background of stillness of your being,
Your heart a jewel that shines and emanates deep appreciation and love.
Your heart mirrors generosity,
Kindness and gratitude and flows reciprocally.
What would your sankalpa be if you could sense your heart's truth?
What would it be?
What truth lights up for you?
It might be something like I am peace,
Joy and love or I am full of light or perhaps you are working with a sankalpa.
You can repeat that now mentally three times.
Could you perceive the body being more and more ethereal,
Full of light,
Love,
More receptive and translucent,
Charged with divine attributes of freedom and bliss,
Samarasa.
As we rotate attention in the body now,
Might you imagine that light of consciousness to light up all the pathways and junctions of the subtle body,
To light up the whole of your being.
From one point to the next,
Create a stream of light flowing,
Starting with your mouth,
Feeling sensation within your mouth,
Roof of your mouth,
The tip of your tongue,
The root of your tongue,
Inner right cheek,
Inner left cheek,
Upper gums and teeth,
Lower gums and teeth,
The space between your upper and lower teeth,
Upper lip,
Lower lip,
Space between the lips,
The tip of your nose,
Inside the right nostril,
Inside the left nostril,
Right cheek,

Softness of your cheeks,

Allow time to flow the tension back up to your neck,

Feel the sensation in the right hip,

The left hip,

The whole body now,

The whole body is one reservoir of sensation,
Awareness of the global relaxation throughout the whole body,
Feel the body breathing itself,
The natural breath in and out without forcing or controlling the breath,
Just sensing,
Observing the natural ebb and flow of the breath like a calm breeze,
Natural breath in the body,
Sensing the rise in the full,
The expansion,
Emptying out the inhalation,
Filling,
Saturation,
The breath,
Expanding all directions,
Filling and emptying,
Could you rest your awareness now on your chest,
Sensing your breath moving in and out of your heart centre just imagining if you could breathe into your heart,
Then imagining your breath out down the front of the body to the toes,
Again inhaling into the heart,
Exhaling front of body to the toes inhaling heart,
Exhale down to the toes,
And your next inhale up the whole back of the body to the crown,
Exhale crown to the heart,
Inhale out of the heart to the right side of you exhale come back to your heart,
Inhale out of the heart to the left side of you,
Exhale come back to your heart your breath an ethereal ribbon weaving an infinity pattern,
Just imagining,
Weaving together front,
Back,
Sides of the body and release,
Just let your heart be all about you,
Expanding all directions,
And sensing now the body gravitating into the earth,
Heavy,
Whole body heavy,
Sensing now the body floating,
Becoming lighter the whole body full of light,
Awareness of the body both heavy and full of light,
Simultaneously,
Allow your awareness now to float to the mind's eye as you arrest your awareness here,
Simultaneously,
Become aware of your body and the room you are in,
And of the building of the room,
And of the blue sky above just imagining,
Fluffy clouds,
A meadow full of wildflowers,
Butterflies fluttering,
Rolling hills,
A rain forest,
A blue mill pond,
A pink flamingo a warm breeze,
A sandy beach,
Your feet on the earth,
Golden reeds,
The sand between your toes,
Gentle waves,
A white lotus flower beneath your feet a shimmering ocean beneath the sun,
The spaciousness,
The vast horizon,
Awareness of the awareness itself could you perceive the body full of love and light,
Impregnating all of the cells of the body,
In rhythm with the universe,
Awareness of the spanda,
Feeling of oneness sap,
Chit,
Ananda,
Pure existence,
Pure awareness,
Pure bliss,
Could you recall your sankalpa and repeat it three times begin to sense the earth beneath your body,
And the room around you,
Take a deep breath in,
And release as you exhale allow the eyes to open into the freshness of this here and now moment,
Slowly awakening the body keeping awareness of stillness for integration in the body,
And perhaps you could return to this every day to emanate even more a deep appreciation and love,
A generosity,
Kindness and gratitude you might like to gently move your toes now and fingers and your feet and hands just gently moving slowly,
You might like to stretch your arms over your head,
Maybe even bring your knees into the chest,
