This is a guided meditation you can either do in your garden or for those of you who don't have a garden you can create one in your mind.
You can create a beautiful sacred space for you and you alone.
So let's begin.
Sitting comfortably in your chosen place gently close your eyes and relax.
Take a few deep breaths inhaling in through your nose and gently exhaling out through your mouth.
So deep breath in and breathe out.
Deep breath in and breathe out.
One more time deep breath in and breathe out and relax.
Now in your mind's eye see yourself sitting on an old wooden bench in a beautiful walled garden and you can feel a gentle breeze on your face.
You can feel the warmth of the Sun as it touches your skin and you look up the beautiful baby blue color of the sky.
You see a few clouds slowly floating past just drifting along with nowhere special to be just like you at this moment in time just drifting along with nowhere special to be but here right now in this moment.
Now bring your attention to the bench that you are sitting on.
Feel the wood beneath your body.
Feel the grass beneath your bare feet.
Can you feel it?
Can you feel it under your toes?
In front of you is a flower bed filled with daffodils.
All different shades of yellow all shimmering in the sunlight.
You watch as they raise their heads up to the sunlight drawing all that they need from the Sun.
The warmth to grow and to stretch themselves.
The light to raise themselves higher still and they are surrounded by the light just as you are.
The yellow light rays of the Sun lift you up and you can feel your spirits rising.
You can feel the inspiring rays of the Sun shining down on your body.
You can feel the joy beginning to enter your heart and you feel happy.
As you sit there you take a look around your garden to see what else is there.
You can see many shrubs and bushes.
Some you can identify and some you can't.
You see many other different types of flowers all swaying gently in the cool calm breeze.
All lifting their heads towards the sunlight just like you.
You realize you can hear running water so you stand up to see where it is coming from.
You walk along the gravel pathway towards the sound and as you draw closer to it you see before you a wonderful shallow stream.
Can you see it?
The water is so clear and inviting and you can see tiny colorful fish as they swim on by.
There are rocks in this stream of yours and the sound you heard is the water flowing around and over them.
And you decide to sit down on the bank by the stream for a while just to relax and to drift with your thoughts.
And you gaze into the water feeling so peaceful,
So calm and so relaxed.
You put your feet into the water and feel the cool refreshing flow of it running gently all over them and it feels so wonderful,
So refreshing,
So revitalizing,
So peaceful,
So calm.
As you sit there each thought that you have just let it go.
Place it in the water and watch as it washes away.
You watch as the thought just gently sails away off into the distance,
Gently bouncing along on the ripples of the water until it is out of sight.
When you have another thought just do the same thing again.
Place it in the water and watch it sail off into the distance.
Each thought that you have placed it into the water and watch it sail away.
You feel so free here,
So relaxed.
It feels so wonderful to just sit with your feet in the cool calm water listening to the sounds of nature.
Just you,
The water and nature.
So sit for a few minutes and just listen.
Listen to the sounds of the crystal clear calming water as it soothes your very soul.
Now it's time to bring your consciousness back into the room.
So take a few deep breaths breathing in through your nose and exhaling out through your mouth.
So breathe in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
One last time breathe in and breathe out.
So wriggle your fingers and your toes and whenever you are ready just open your eyes.
You
