The central question—"What is your heart's deepest desire?"—is not meant to be answered intellectually or rushed. Instead, it's an invitation to listen with compassion to the quiet wisdom that resides within. This type of inquiry encourages us to distinguish between surface-level wants and the profound longings that align with our true purpose and values.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Neela Steele,

And I'm here with you right now.

I gently invite you to find a comfortable position.

A position that allows you to be alert,

Present,

And open.

This is an invitation to pause the demands of your life in this moment.

Noticing first the space between your ears and your shoulders.

Feel your body supported by the surface it is now resting on.

Or noticing the position of the feet.

Go ahead and take a deep and spacious breath.

Receive the inhale and let go of the exhale.

When you're ready,

Ask yourself,

What does my heart long for in this moment right now?

And if it's okay to ask the question again,

What does my heart long for?

Can we create some space to listen deeply to whatever spontaneously arises for you?

Know that it's okay if something arises,

And know that it is also okay if nothing arises.

Can you check in with your body now?

What emotions arise for you,

And how does the body respond?

And asking again,

Perhaps the attention goes even deeper,

And the answer might simplify.

What is this deep longing of your heart?

Is it for freedom or harmony,

Simplicity or ease?

If an answer comes,

Just be open to receiving it.

Just let this deepest longing be here.

And if no answer comes,

Just sit with the question and allow your body to respond.

And a final time,

What does my heart long for in this moment?

As we come to a close,

Allow yourself to take a deep and spacious breath.

Thank you for your precious time and attention.
