Welcome to your morning vision meditation.
This meditation is best done seated,
As lying down may tell your body to go back to sleep just for a few more minutes.
Whenever you're ready,
Find a comfortable seated posture,
Maybe taking a few full body good morning stretches,
Getting out any wiggles,
Gently waking up your body.
And whenever you're ready and it feels safe to do so,
Close your eyes,
Awaken to your breath.
Notice the sensation of the inhale and the falling of the exhale.
Maybe in your mind,
Repeating inhale on the inhale and exhale as you release your breath.
See if you can continue counting your breath for five counts of breath,
Allowing your body to fully settle into this moment while your mind remains awake and alert.
Letting the things that you need to do today wash off into the distance as you become present to this moment.
See today as a blank slate.
In your mind's eye,
Imagine a horizon in front of you,
A representation of limitless potential.
Bring to mind the concept of emptiness to your best ability,
This idea that our reality comes from us and thus our reality and everything around us has the potential to transform.
See this blank slate in front of you and begin imagining your biggest visions for today.
What are you craving today?
Where do you want to place your energy today?
Trust whatever comes up first,
Whether it sounds like a whisper or a clear conversation,
A clear knowing.
Allow yourself to think past all of the shoulds and let your soul guide you forward.
Feel into this expansive nature of limitless possibility,
Seeing that today could be a day that your life changes,
Knowing that we have the power to shift our perspective,
To create something new for ourselves and that new reality starts with the mind.
Bring to mind something in your life that you are grateful for.
This can be a person,
Place,
A thing,
An opportunity and think about all of the things that got you to that thing that you are so grateful for,
All of the experiences that you had to go through,
All of the people that helped you,
All of the work that you did on your own.
Look at how far you've come,
Feel good about yourself and extend gratitude for all of the circumstances and conditions and people that got you to where you are today.
With a newfound sense of expansion and excitement for the day ahead,
Begin connecting back to your breath,
Deepening your inhales and exhales as you begin to awaken the body,
Coming back into the space around you,
Revitalized and energized for the day ahead,
Taking a moment to bring a small smile to your face,
Dedicating this practice to someone who may need it,
Maybe one of those people that you are so grateful for.
Take a nice big,
Deep inhale into the belly,
Exhale through the mouth,
Gently opening your eyes,
Allowing the light of the room to come into your senses.
I hope you have a beautiful day ahead and I hope that you remember your vision and know that there's limitless potential out there waiting for you today.
