Today's episode is going to focus on acknowledging and having gratitude for those who sacrifice for others.

It can be really easy to get into the mindset that we're entitled and that things should be handed to us,

But ultimately that's not how it is.

And those who sacrifice the most with humility are rarely ever acknowledged.

And so today's meditation is going to allow you to become centered and to become receptive to all of the gifts and all of the sacrifices that others make for you in your daily life.

It will allow you to feel a deeper and more profound connection with the universe and with those around you,

Shifting your mindset into one of gratitude and allowing you to find a deeper level of peace in your life.

So before we begin,

Get settled in,

Find a place where you can be comfortable and free from distraction for the duration of your meditation.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Taking the breath all the way down to the very bottom of your belly and then gently releasing the breath through your mouth.

Allow yourself to breathe at your own natural soothing rhythm.

With each exhale,

Let go of any stress,

Any tension,

Let go of anything that no longer serves you with your breath.

Allow yourself to become one with the rhythm of your breathing,

Drifting deeper and deeper into relaxation and calm,

Your mind becoming quiet and clear and your body loosening,

Settling into your position.

So continue breathing,

Encouraging each breath to be drawn in a little bit deeper,

A little bit slower each time,

Continuing to bring you into a state of deep and calming relaxation.

In your mind's eye,

Visualize yourself standing on a darkened beach,

Barefoot in the sand,

Holding a candle.

Take a deep breath in,

Breathing in gratitude and slowly release the breath through your mouth,

Letting go of entitlement.

And as you're standing on the dark beach,

Holding your candle with a small flickering flame,

You look upon the night sky.

And while you didn't immediately notice it,

You notice that the sky is speckled with little flecks of light from the stars above.

And each star represents the sacrifice that's been made by somebody either in your life personally or in a way that has directly affected your life,

Your level of comfort,

Your rights.

And while you can't see every star that's in the sky,

You know that the sky is full of more than you could ever count.

And you continue to breathe in,

Breathing in gratitude for the beautiful gifts that you've been bestowed,

Many without even realizing it.

And with each breath that you release,

Let go of entitlement.

Allow yourself to create the space to acknowledge and express gratitude for every grain of sand that's been laid in your path,

Creating the firm foundation with which you stand upon.

And as you continue to breathe,

The flame from your candle burns brighter,

Not getting any larger,

Simply glowing brighter,

Acknowledging that the stars don't ask for recognition.

They simply show up and shine every night,

Being present during the day out of sight,

Yet only being noticeable at night when you look up towards the sky.

Inhaling,

Breathing in gratitude and exhaling,

Letting go of entitlement.

Allowing yourself to appreciate and respect the stars above,

Letting go of any guilt,

Letting go of any shame,

Allowing yourself to soak in the beauty of the stars.

Allowing yourself to become open to the inspiration of the night sky and the stars' silent beauty.

Breathing in gratitude,

Exhaling and letting go of entitlement.

Allowing the silent beauty from the stars above to quiet your mind,

To open your heart and allow you a new outlook on the world around you.

Take a deep breath and gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing awareness back into your body.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

This is a really great meditation to practice whenever you feel like you need to be brought back into perspective.

And I really like how it really opens me up to a sense of gratitude and appreciating every sacrifice that's impacted my life in one way or another.

If there's anyone that you know who could benefit from this meditation,

Please feel free to share it with them.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

Have a stress-free day.

Namaste.
