
Chakra Energy Balancing
An easy guided visualization meditation for when you feel scattered, out of sorts, and off-balance. This simple chakra balancing meditation will leave you feeling balanced, at peace, and very rejuvenated.
Transcript
Before we begin,
Find a place where you can be comfortable,
Free from distraction,
And allow yourself to get settled in.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Drawing the breath down,
Feeling as your belly expands and the clothing shifts upon your skin.
And when you're ready,
Release the breath slowly through your mouth,
Feeling the warmth as it passes your lips,
And allowing yourself to breathe at your own natural rhythm,
Encouraging each breath to be drawn in a little bit deeper,
A little bit slower each time.
As you inhale,
Allow the breath to wash through your mind,
Clearing away any thoughts,
Any stress,
Any worries.
And as you exhale,
Gently allow your body to relax,
Noticing if there are any areas of tension,
And releasing it through your breath,
Inhaling and feeling your body become more relaxed,
Noticing the temperature of the air around you,
The way it feels on your skin,
The way that your body gently shifts with each inhale and each exhale as you become more and more at peace and more and more relaxed.
As you continue to breathe,
In your mind's eye,
Envision directly underneath your tailbone,
Envision in your mind's eye,
Down right by your tailbone,
A bud of a red lotus flower.
And as you breathe,
It emerges forward,
Blossoming.
And as you continue to breathe,
The red becomes more vibrant and glowing.
And this beautiful lotus flower begins to gently spin clockwise.
It becomes more vibrant as it continues to slowly spin.
Continuing to breathe,
The red lotus flower gently closes,
Continuing to slowly turn and retreats back to the base of your tailbone,
Breathing at your own natural rhythm.
Imagine right at the very center of your hips,
An orange lotus blossom bud gently emerges forward and slowly blooms,
Becoming a more vibrant orange,
Beginning to glow and gently beginning to spin clockwise,
Almost feeling the glow from this orange,
Gently turning lotus blossom.
This beautiful orange lotus blossom slowly begins to close while still gently spinning and it begins to retreat back to the center of your hips,
Each breath bringing you deeper and deeper into a silent stillness,
Envisioning directly behind your belly button,
Up towards your spine,
A yellow lotus blossom bud.
And this yellow lotus blossom bud slowly emerges forward and it blossoms,
As it blossoms it becomes more vibrant and glows beautifully.
As you continue to breathe,
This beautiful yellow glowing lotus blossom slowly begins to turn clockwise,
Becoming even more beautiful,
More vibrant,
More brilliant.
It spins slowly with ease and fluidity as it glows and you breathe in and out,
Honoring your own natural breath,
And this beautiful yellow lotus blossom slowly begins to retreat back behind your belly button,
Up against your spine,
As it closes,
Still gently and fluidly spinning.
Now envisioning a green lotus blossom bud directly in the center of your chest,
Slowly emerging and blossoming into a brilliant glowing green lotus blossom.
You breathe as it becomes more brilliant,
As it starts slowly spinning clockwise,
Spinning seamlessly and slowly,
Becoming even more brilliant and bright with each breath that you take.
And this beautiful green lotus flower begins to retreat as it closes back up to the center of your chest,
Slowly spinning,
Still vibrant and brilliant.
Observing a beautiful blue lotus bud in the center of your neck,
Back against your spine,
Slowly emerging forward as it begins to blossom,
Begins to glow.
And this blue lotus flower becomes more brilliant,
More bright,
As it slowly begins spinning clockwise.
And as you continue to breathe in and out,
It becomes brighter,
It becomes more beautiful and brilliant.
Still spinning slowly,
It begins to close back up and retreat back to the center of your neck,
Up against your spine.
Bringing your focus right between your eyes,
The very center of your head,
Envision a beautiful purple lotus flower bud,
Beginning to slowly emerge forward and blossom,
Becoming more vibrant and glowing with each breath that you take.
And as you breathe,
This beautiful purple lotus flower begins to slowly spin clockwise,
Becoming brighter and more brilliant with each breath that you take,
Slowly spinning.
And this beautiful purple lotus flower begins to close once again and retreat back between your eyes to the center of your head,
Still slowly spinning,
Still glowing brightly.
Now,
Bring your focus to the very center of the top of your head and envision a beautiful white lotus bud,
Rising up as it blossoms slowly,
Glowing brilliantly,
Becoming more open with each breath that you take.
And it gently starts slowly spinning clockwise,
Glowing even brighter as it slowly spins,
As your breathing becomes even slower and deeper.
And this vibrant,
Beautiful white lotus flower begins to close up once again and retreat the center of the top of your head,
Still slowly spinning,
Still glowing vibrantly.
And now bringing your focus outward,
Envision looking upon yourself,
Seeing the red slowly spinning lotus blossom glowing by your tailbone,
The orange slowly spinning lotus blossom,
Right in the center of your hips,
The glowing beautiful yellow lotus blossom bun,
Right behind your belly button,
Nestled up against your spine,
The green slowly spinning lotus blossom bun,
In the center of your chest,
And the blue brilliant lotus blossom bun,
In the center of your neck,
Nestled up against your spine,
The purple beautiful lotus blossom bun,
Right between your eyes,
In the center of your head,
Slowly spinning and glowing,
And the brilliantly white glowing lotus blossom bun,
Directly in the center of the top of your head,
Slowly spinning,
Each bun spinning slowly in unison,
Glowing its own vibrant color,
Each one in harmony with the other,
As they spin and as they glow in a balanced harmony.
Take a deep breath.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Bringing awareness back into your body.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
