Welcome to this new moon in Capricorn meditation.
My name is Natalie and as we almost actually say goodbye to 2024,
I'm also excited about this new moon in Capricorn.
This is actually a powerful time to set practical and long-term intentions.
Capricorn ruled by Saturn symbolizes discipline,
Structure,
Ambition.
So this new moon's energy encourages us to reflect on our goals,
Align with our highest aspirations and build a foundation for success.
Collectively,
We are being called to embrace responsibility,
Land strategically and stay grounded while pursuing our dreams.
Now,
I would like to ask you to get comfortable,
Either lying down or sitting supported by pillows or a wall.
Choose any position that's comfortable right now.
Maybe you want to tuck a thin pillow or a blanket under your head or maybe you also want to cover yourself with a blanket.
Do anything you need to do to get as comfortable as possible.
Check for any lumps or bumps,
Jewelry,
Clothing or anything else that might distract you.
If you find any,
Adjust them now.
Scan your whole body and make sure that you're as comfortable as can be.
Relax your feet,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your backs,
Your arms,
Shoulders,
Jaw,
Forehead,
Check in and make any further adjustments if it will help you to be at your most comfortable.
Feel yourself settling in and now set aside anything that's happened before this moment and set aside everything else that will happen after this practice.
Bring all of your awareness into this practice.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Let go.
Let go of any thoughts,
Any need to do.
Just be.
Let's journey inwards together.
Now bring your attention to your body,
Starting at the crown of your head and visualize a warm grounding light softly moving through each part of your body as I guide you.
Crown of your head.
Feel a sense of connection to your higher self.
Forehead and temples.
Relax your mind and release tension.
Eyes,
Soften and let them rest.
Cheeks and jaw.
Let go of any tightness.
Now bring your awareness to your neck and shoulders.
Feel the weight lifting as you release burdens.
Now bring your awareness to your right arm,
Right hand,
Left arm,
Left hand and sense their strength and their readiness to create.
Now bring your awareness to your chest and heart center.
Invite in a steady rhythmic breath and bring your awareness to your abdomen.
Embrace stability and inner power.
Bring your awareness now to your right hip,
Left hip,
Right thigh,
Left thigh and feel rooted,
Stable and strong.
Bring your awareness to your right knee,
Left knee,
Right calf,
Left calf,
Right foot,
Left foot and feel grounded and connected to the earth beneath you.
Take a deep breath in and visualize the light into your entire body.
Exhale slowly and feel fully present and aligned.
Now repeat the following mantras for this new moon in Capricorn silently or out loud to affirm your intentions.
I am grounded and focused on my goals.
I build my dreams with discipline and care.
I align with my highest potential.
Let these mantras resonate within you,
Planting seeds of determination and purpose.
Now imagine yourself standing at the base of a majestic mountain.
This mountain represents your ambitions,
Your dreams and the path to the summit is illuminated by the soft silvery light of the new moon.
You feel steady and capable,
Ready to take each step with intention.
As you ascend,
Visualize your goals etched into the stones along the path.
With each step you release self-doubt and embrace resilience.
Feel the energy of Capricorn guiding you,
Reminding you that with patience and perseverance you can achieve anything.
As you reach the summit you find a sacred space.
Here under the new moon's glow you set your intentions.
Visualize these intentions taking root,
Growing stronger with each breath.
Feel the sense of accomplishment and clarity this moment brings.
Stay here for a while,
Absorbing the energy of the mountain and the moon.
Now slowly bring your awareness back to your heart center.
Notice your rising on inhalation and falling on exhalation.
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel your body peacefully resting.
Feel the support beneath you.
Notice the temperature of the space you're in.
Notice the sounds.
And introduce more movement into your body by taking a deep breath.
Now wiggle your fingers and toes and feel the energy come back to your body.
Stretch or move your body any way you like.
Try to remain with your eyes closed.
And continue to feel how the energy is coming back to your body.
And if you were lying down,
Whenever you are ready roll over to your right side.
And take a moment to thank yourself for dedicating this time to your growth and intentions.
Trust that the seeds you've planted under this Capricorn new moon will flourish with care and perseverance.
And before we end this new moon meditation,
I would like to give you three tips to integrate this new moon energy into your daily life.
Set a clear and actionable plan.
Break your big goal into smaller manageable steps.
Write them down and prioritize them to create a realistic timeline.
Embrace discipline.
Dedicate time each day to work on your goals.
Even if it's just a small step.
Consistency is key to turning dreams into reality.
Ground yourself regularly.
Spend time in nature.
Practice mindfulness or meditate to maintain focus and balance.
Capricorn's energy thrives on a steady and grounded approach.
And while you let those words sink in,
I would like to invite you to slowly come up,
If you're still lying on your right side.
Come up into a seated meditative position.
And place your hands in prayer position in front of your heart.
We're gonna end this practice with one Aum and three Shanties.
Aum being the universal sound and Shanti meaning peace.
