Thank you for coming to be with me today.
And welcome to another practice designed to primarily soothe your nervous system and secondarily to relax your throat.
Find a comfortable spot to sit.
Nice and tall with space to breathe.
And begin breathing deep into your core with a nice audible exhale.
Just spend a few moments creating some space with your breath.
This is a vocal practice where we will use an ooh sound,
Which is a sound and a shape that automatically relaxes your throat muscles at pretty much any note you sing.
So you can play around with the pitch that you are sounding at.
Find a spot where you feel comfortable making some sound.
And that way you can create in your body the same effect I'll be creating in mine with this practice,
Which is the vibration of your vagus nerve using your voice,
Which ultimately helps your body enter rest and digest mode,
Which is self healing mode.
It's also a beautiful feeling of safety.
So I am going to sing an intuitive melody,
Just whatever wants to flow through me.
And you can sing an ooh at a long drawn out pitch.
If that feels good,
You can also play with your voice with mine and just feel where it feels good to fit your voice alongside mine.
Or if it feels best,
You can just lie back and listen and just allow your body to be soothed by a sound bath.
Connect back with your breath and then you can begin to sing.
Ah.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.

Thank you for joining me for a beautiful,
Soothing moment.
