Welcome,
This is Natalie.
This practice is designed to help you shift out of self-doubt by using your body as an anchor of confidence and strength.
So often,
Self-doubt poses inward,
Shoulders lumping,
Chest tight,
Voice small.
In this meditation,
We'll reverse that pattern.
Through posture,
Breath,
And gentle awareness,
You'll open into steadiness and strength.
By the end,
You will feel more grounded,
Capable,
And connected to your inner power.
Find a comfortable seat or stand tall if you prefer.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and a long,
Steady breath out through your mouth.
Let's begin.
First,
Notice the natural rhythm of your breath without changing anything.
Simply feel the rise and fall of your chest and belly,
The flow of the air in and out through your nostrils.
Now bring your awareness to your whole body.
How is it sitting?
How is it holding itself?
Just notice your posture without judgment.
Self-doubt often makes us collapse inward.
Today,
We will practice a different way of holding ourselves.
Gently roll your shoulders up to the ears,
Back and down.
Let them rest open and spacious.
Imagine a thread pulling the crown of your head upward,
Lengthening your spine.
Bring your awareness to your head and neck.
Draw your chin slightly back,
Just enough so that the crown of your head aligns naturally over your spine.
This subtle movement lengthens the back of your neck and brings your posture into balance.
Now shift your awareness to your chest.
Allow the heart space to gently open.
Feel how the chest broadens,
But without forcing.
Chest open.
Receive.
As the chest opens,
Bring attention to your lower back to stay grounded and stable.
We want to prevent any arching in the lower back.
For that sake,
Gently draw your belly back toward the spine,
Releasing any exaggerated arch.
Imagine the base of your spine stacking naturally and comfortably under the rest of your body,
Giving you steadiness and support.
Breathe here.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Stay calm and centered.
Allow yourself to be here and to take up space.
Place one hand on your belly and one hand on your chest.
Feel the warmth of your own touch.
Now breathe deeply into your belly so that your lower hand rises.
Then let the breath move into your chest,
Feeling the upper hand expand.
And exhale fully.
We'll do this together three times.
Inhale into the belly,
Then into the chest,
And exhale slowly,
Emptying.
Again,
Inhale belly,
Inhale chest,
And exhale fully.
And one more time,
Inhale belly,
Chest,
And release.
Notice how your posture feels now.
Spine tall,
Chest open,
Heart lifted.
Imagine that with every inhale,
You're breathing in strength.
With every exhale,
You're letting go of doubt.
Feel your chest opening like a doorway to confidence,
Your shoulders steady and broad as if they can carry whatever comes your way,
Your spine strong and upright,
A pillar of resilience.
And again,
Notice this posture,
Tall,
Open,
Grounded.
This is what confidence feels like in the body.
Now silently repeat to yourself in rhythm with your breath.
Inhale,
I rise.
Exhale,
I trust myself.
Again,
Inhale,
I rise.
Exhale,
I trust myself.
Continue for a few more breaths,
Letting these words sink in,
Carried by your strong,
Steady body.
Take one last deep breath in and a long,
Steady breath out.
Notice how you feel now,
More upright,
More open,
More alive.
Remember,
Your body can be your anchor.
Whenever doubt creeps in,
You can return to this posture,
Shoulders back,
Spine tall,
Chest open,
Breath steady and deep.
Each time you repeat this practice,
The pattern of confidence grows stronger.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and step forward with clarity,
Strength,
And trust in yourself.
