Make yourself nice and comfortable either sitting or lying down free from all distractions.

Close your eyes and take a nice long deep breath in and gently exhale.

Take a second long slow deep breath in and hold it.

And as you exhale allow your body to relax.

Now imagine that you're lying down on a beautiful secluded beach.

You're all alone on this beach.

You can feel the warm sand beneath you.

You can feel the sun warming your skin.

You can hear the sound of the waves crashing gently on the shore.

You're alone on this beautiful beach feeling completely safe and comfortable.

There's a brilliant bright sun directly above you.

Blue skies.

Nice.

Now take another deep breath in and exhale any stresses or tension.

Now the light from the sun focuses over your right arm and the sunlight moves gently back and forth up and down your right arm.

It continues to move back and forth until you get the sensation of warmth penetrating the skin.

And then the muscles and then the nerves and then the bones.

Until the light from that brilliant sun touches every nerve,

Every cell,

Every consciousness in your right arm.

Your arm is feeling warm and relaxed and becoming heavier.

And you find yourself letting go and drifting deeper and deeper into this wonderful relaxed state.

Now the light from the sun moves over to your left arm now.

Gently over to your left arm and again the sunlight moves from the tips of your finger to your shoulder.

The light moves back and forth until you can sense and experience the warmth from the sun penetrating through the skin.

Warming through your left arm,

Through the skin and the muscles and the nerves.

Until both the right and left arm become very deeply relaxed.

Deeply relaxed,

Easily,

Gently,

Effortlessly.

Your arms are both now comfortably relaxed.

Feeling heavier and more comfortable than ever before.

Now the sunlight focuses down the right leg now.

From the tips of the toes all the way to the hip.

The light will focus and move back and forth.

The sun will warm you,

Soothe you and the right leg becomes deeply relaxed.

For with each word that I speak,

With each breath that you take,

This feeling and sensation of letting go and relaxing increases moment by moment,

Breath by breath.

Breath by breath.

Now that wonderful sunlight focuses over the left leg and again it moves from the tips of the toes to the hip joint.

It moves back and forth,

Up and down.

Warming,

Soothing,

Relaxing.

Deeper and deeper,

Deeper still.

Deeper still.

Now the light moves.

It moves into your stomach.

The light focuses in your stomach like a ball of energy and feel this light in your stomach beginning to warm and to glow and to soothe every organ,

Every system,

Every cell,

Every atom,

Every consciousness in your body.

And just release,

Relax and let go.

And go deeper and deeper and deeper still.

Now the light moves and focuses in your chest and experience the light from the sun entering your bloodstream.

And feel and sense and know that the energy,

The vitality,

The life,

The light,

The love from the sun is surging throughout your entire body,

Through your bloodstream to heal,

To heal,

To soothe,

To revitalize.

As you drift deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Now that light from the sun enters in through the crown of your head and gently moves down your spine until it touches your tailbone.

When it touches your tailbone,

It lights your entire body like a fluorescent light bulb from the tip of your tailbone through to the top of your head.

And then the light begins to move and shimmer and vibrate as it pulsates through every nerve of your body.

You are aware of the energy from the light moving down around your pelvic region and down your legs.

From the small of your back,

Round your stomach.

From between your shoulders,

Around your lungs,

Around your heart,

Across your shoulders and down your neck,

Through your head,

Down your neck,

And down your neck,

Through your head.

And you notice how your entire body is so deeply relaxed now.

Your shoulders relax as does your neck.

Your scalp relaxes.

The right and left lobes of your brain relax.

Your forehead relaxes.

The tiny muscles in and around your eyes relax.

Your cheeks relax.

Your jaw relaxes.

As you drift into this comfortable,

Deeply relaxed state.

And as you're lying on this beautiful,

Secluded beach.

Even though you are deeply relaxed,

As I count the numbers from eight down to one,

You'll find that with each number that I count,

You relax even more deeply.

Eight,

Seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Deep,

Deep relaxation.

Your subconscious mind is opening up,

Ready to accept and receive the positive suggestions I'm about to give you.

These suggestions become embedded in your subconscious mind.

Giving you new thoughts and a new way of behaving to make your weight loss effective and successful.

Listen carefully to the positive suggestions that I give you and allow them to take complete and thorough effect.

Upon the deepest part of your subconscious mind.

You now feel more optimistic.

You feel more able to control your eating habits.

You have a positive attitude to becoming slimmer.

You have a positive attitude to becoming slimmer and healthier.

You are now ready to let go of the excess weight you no longer want or need.

You are letting go of the excess weight easily and effortlessly.

From now on,

You naturally make healthier food choices.

You eat modest portions of food and you are satisfied.

Your appetite is getting smaller and you choose to eat smaller.

You are completely satisfied with modest portions of food which you eat only.

You are completely satisfied with modest portions of food which you eat only.

You are completely satisfied with modest portions of food which you eat only when you are hungry.

You drink more water than ever before.

You choose healthy foods that nourish your body.

You drink clear,

Refreshing water that cleanses your body.

You feel lighter and freer every day,

Positive and confident of success.

And the better you feel,

The more you are dedicated to achieving your goals.

The better you feel,

The more you are dedicated to achieving your goals.

Now you decide to take a good look around this beautiful beach.

You can still feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

You decide to walk towards the water's edge and dip your toes in the cool sea.

You notice the waves and the waves are changing.

You notice something different about you.

You seem to have a new lease of life.

A new frame of mind.

Life seems so much better than it did before.

A world full of wonderful possibilities.

As you look across the sea,

The endless ocean,

You realize that life is full of endless possibilities and that you can do absolutely anything that you focus your mind on.

You are completely in control.

And this realization makes you feel amazing.

Nothing can stop you.

Nothing can stand in your way.

And as you now walk along the water's edge,

A smile on your face,

Good feelings flowing through your body.

Your heart filled with love and joy.

You notice over by some rocks,

A hidden cave.

You can only just make it out.

You are overcome with curiosity.

So you head towards the opening.

And as you enter this mysterious cave,

You notice that there's a full length mirror,

An antique full length mirror in the far corner.

It seems very strange to you.

So you walk over to this old mirror in the corner of the cave.

There's barely any light in here.

So when you look in the mirror,

All you see is darkness.

But something magical is about to happen.

When I count to three,

That mirror will somehow light up so that you can see the reflection of yourself as you truly want to be.

You will see the reflection of yourself at your ideal weight and size,

The way you truly want to look.

One,

Two,

Three.

See that mirror light up and see yourself as the slim,

Healthy,

Happy,

Confident person that you truly want to be.

Take a moment to absorb the reflection of the you that you truly want to be.

Notice what you are wearing and how incredible clothes look on your slim,

Healthy body.

Notice the sparkle in your eyes,

The smile on your face.

Notice the joy and positivity radiating from this reflection.

This is the you that you truly want to be.

This is the you that you are going to become.

Now,

I want you to place one hand against your reflection so that your hand and the hand of your reflection meet.

And as they do,

The moment they touch,

You feel all that joy and positivity transferring over to you,

Rippling through your body,

Making you feel absolutely amazing.

Travelling through your hand,

Through your arm and then throughout your entire body.

You are being filled up with positivity.

You are being filled up with confidence.

You are being filled up with pure joy.

And now that you are filled up with these wonderful feelings,

You leave the cave feeling completely rejuvenated.

The beach is no longer empty.

It's full of happy people of all ages.

Some of them are coming up to you,

Giving you a hug,

Giving you a friendly pat on the back.

But absolutely everyone here is smiling at you because you are radiating positivity and joy.

And everyone that you encounter can feel it too.

You feel so uplifted and blessed.

Now you sit back down on the sand and I'm going to count you out from one to five,

Bringing you back to normal consciousness now.

With each number that I count,

You'll feel yourself becoming more and more alert.

You'll also experience these wonderful feelings that you now have becoming even stronger.

And when you open your eyes at the count of five,

You will see life through a new set of eyes.

You will feel completely refreshed and replenished.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Open your eyes and notice how different you feel in a very positive way.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.
