In our daily lives, we often experience tension and conflict, which can impact our bodies in the form of stress and anxiety, and conflict with ourselves. In this meditation, we allow a rejuvenating, cleansing, and grounding Earth energy to flood our body and mind and wash away the stress, anxiety, and inner conflict. De-stressing the body meditation.

Now come to a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Take a few moments to settle until you find complete stillness.

Elongate through the crown of the head.

Relax the shoulders and allow your shoulder blades to slide down your ribs and slowly come to observe your breath.

Your natural effortless breath and observe the gentle subtle movements of every inhale and exhale.

Noticing the belly and the chest rising and falling back towards your spine.

And now become more aware of the state of your inner being,

Of your presence,

With any thoughts entering your mind,

Any feelings or sensations being present here at this very moment.

Try not to create any sensations and try not to evoke any feelings,

But allow the things to be exactly as they are at this very moment.

And sit here with yourself for a few moments.

Perhaps you are noticing slight changes in your breathing pattern and slowly try to breathe further down to your belly,

Deepening your breath and begin to extend the time of your exhalation.

Breathe in deeply,

Breathe out calmly and now imagine that with your inhale you can draw an energy from the earth beneath you.

Breathing deeply,

This grounding earth energy all the way to your feet and as you exhale you are returning this energy back to the earth and breathe in deeply again,

Drawing this life,

Grounding earth energy all the way through your feet up to your ankles and with your exhale this energy is draining away any tensions that you might have felt in your feet.

And as you breathe in again draw this warm energy from the earth,

This life energy all the way through your feet and the ankles to your shins and up to your knees and as you exhale this energy is slowly draining away all the way back to the earth beneath you and breathe in this energy and breathe out the tensions and breathe in again as you draw this life force,

This beautiful rejuvenating positive energy from the earth all the way,

All the way through your feet,

The ankles,

The shins and the knees,

Up to your thighs and all the way to your hips and exhale anything that you feel doesn't supposed to be here,

That you feel that is causing a tension,

That you feel that it has been stuck in your legs and allow this energy to drain away and return back to the earth and taking a deep breath in again all the way from the center of the earth,

Draw this positive rejuvenating energy all the way from the center of the earth,

Allow it to replenish your legs and exhale,

Return this energy back to the center of the earth,

Taking anything negative with it to be renewed in the depth of the earth and breathe in again and allow this energy all the way from the center of the earth to rise up through your feet,

Your ankles,

Your shins,

Your knees,

Your thighs,

Your hips and all the way through your glutes to your lower back,

Your upper back including your shoulders and as you exhale allow this positive energy to take away anything that you feel is being still stuck here,

That you feel is being stubborn and you are allowing this energy to return back for replenishment to the earth,

The depth of the earth and breathe in again,

Drawing up on this energy,

This beautiful grounding,

Healthy,

Happy energy that is slowly taking over replacing the tension,

The stress,

The negativity in your body and with your next deep inhale drawing up all the way from the depth,

The center of the earth this grounding,

Pleasant,

Lively energy all the way through your legs to your abdomen and feel it rising further up to your ribs,

Protecting the lungs and your heart and allow this earth grounding,

Rejuvenating energy to fill this region of your body,

To fill your abdomen,

To fill your lungs and to fill your heart and with your exhale release anything unpleasant,

Unhappy,

Painful,

Allow it to go all the way to the center of the earth where it can dissolve and the energy can be replenished and breathe in deeply again,

Allowing this energy all the way from the core of the earth to rise up through your feet,

Ankles,

Shins,

Knees,

Thighs,

Hips,

Your lower torso,

Your middle torso,

Through your lungs,

Your heart filling your heart completely,

Your heart is full of this life,

Of the joy and pleasure and allow this energy to rise further up,

Further up through your throat to your head,

Filling up every single corner of your head,

Of your brain and as you exhale this energy is taking away all the pain,

All the sadness,

All the stress,

Anxiety and tension and it takes it all the way to the earth,

The core of the earth for replenishment,

For renewal,

Inhale deeply and this beautiful energy is rising up again,

Filling up every single corner of your body with this life substance,

With its joy and pleasure that is rising up all the way to your brain,

All the way to your mind and allow this life force,

This beautiful energy to stay here,

To rest at the center of your mind and allow your brain and your mind to let go,

To soften,

To relax and with your deep exhale allow this energy to drain away anything that has been bothering you,

That has been painful,

Away from your mind,

Back to the center of the earth,

Back for replenishment,

For renewal and with your inhale allow this energy to flood your body once again fully,

Every single corner,

Every single cell are now flooded with this beautiful positive life energy that allows every single muscle,

Every single vein,

Every single bone,

Every single cell in your body to relax,

Relax and let go and if you are still experiencing some unpleasantness,

Some negativity,

Stress or anxiety keep drawing this beautiful life energy from the center,

From the core of the earth and allow it to replace these unpleasant sensations and thoughts with exhale,

Allow them to be drained away by this energy and you are now feeling more grounded,

More relaxed,

More at peace with every inhale and exhale and slowly start returning back to your breath,

Back to those gentle,

Subtle movements of inhale and exhale,

Noticing the sound of your breath and become aware of the shape of your body that is carved into the space that surrounds you and begin to move your body,

Gently moving your toes,

Moving your finger,

Maybe moving the shoulders and soften your jaw,

Relax your eyelids and soften all those little muscles across the forehead to your temples and only when you feel ready open your eyes and return back to your day.
