Good morning.

Welcome to a brand new day.

Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated on a cushion,

Bolster or a chair or lying down.

Lengthen through the crown of your head,

Relax the shoulders and feel your shoulder blades softly sliding down your wrists.

Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.

Soften your game or close your eyes completely.

Today is a brand new day,

Just as the sun rises every morning.

So visualize the rising sun and see its warm golden light.

Feel this light gently striking the crown of your head,

Feeling that warm gentle glowing light slowly sliding down from the crown of the head all the way through your spine,

All the way down towards your feet.

And you feel this warmth touching your face.

The sun rays are slowly penetrating your skin.

You are taking a deep inhale and this warm glowing light is slowly filling up every single corner of your body.

And as you exhale,

You are releasing any worries,

Anything that is holding you back.

Breathing deeply this warm glowing sunlight,

Nourishing light,

Vitalizing light.

And with your exhale,

Releasing any stale air,

Anything that you want to get rid of.

And you feel your body is becoming warmer,

More relaxed,

But also more energized.

And this warmth is slowly starting to radiate beyond the edges of your body,

Filling up that space around you.

And you are breathing in deeply and breathing out calmly,

Feeling that energy making you stronger,

More awake.

And you've got so much of this vital energy that you can share it with the space that is around you.

Deep inhale,

Breathe in.

And now tell yourself silently or loudly,

It is going to be a good day.

Today is going to be a great day.

Today is going to be an amazing day.

And remember that the sun is always out there,

Even during the cloudy days.

The sun is always shining down on you,

So you can draw up on this energy whenever you need it.

And now return to your breath.

Deep,

Calm,

Steady breath.

Become more aware of your surroundings,

More aware of the sounds coming through,

More aware of your body.

Gently move your toes,

Your fingers,

And moisten your lips.

And when you feel ready,

Open your eyes and enjoy your day.
