Hello and thank you for being here today.

Before we begin the meditation,

I'd like to share why this practice can be truly transformative for you.

In our daily lives,

It's easy to get caught up in identifying with the experiences we go through.

We think of ourselves as our bodies.

We focus on how we look,

How we feel physically.

We get swept up in our emotions,

Letting happiness,

Sadness,

Stress or anxiety define us.

And our minds,

Well,

They never stop running.

Thoughts,

Worries,

Memories,

They come and go endlessly,

Often leaving us feeling overwhelmed or lost in the noise.

But here's the truth,

You are not your body,

You are not your emotions,

And you are not your mind.

All of these things,

The body,

Emotions and mind,

Are things you experience,

Not who you are.

You are something far deeper and more profound.

When we identify with the body,

The emotions or the mind,

We often find ourselves feeling limited,

Stressed or disconnected from a sense of inner peace.

But when we realize that the true self,

The part of us that observes all of these things,

Is something much greater,

We open ourselves up to a deep sense of freedom and calm.

This meditation is designed to help you connect with that deeper sense of self.

By guiding you to observe the body,

Emotions and mind without identifying with them,

You'll begin to tap into a state of awareness that is peaceful,

Grounded and expansive.

This shift in perspective can bring about a profound sense of inner stillness,

No matter what's happening in your external world.

So as we go through this meditation,

My hope is that you'll begin to experience the peace that comes with letting go of the idea that you are just your body,

Emotions or thoughts.

Instead,

You'll connect with the timeless awareness that exists beyond all of that,

A space where you can experience true clarity,

Calm and freedom.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

So let's begin.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Gently,

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

Slowly,

Exhale.

Allow yourself to settle into this moment.

Letting go of any tension in your body.

Feel the weight of your body being supported and let it relax.

Your breath flows naturally without effort.

Bring your attention to your body.

Notice any sensations present.

Maybe the feeling of the surface beneath you or the air on your skin.

Feel any tension or relaxation.

Just observe without judgment.

Now,

Recognize this.

You are not your body.

You can say my body,

Which means to you,

The true self or something separate from the body.

You experience your body,

But you are not limited to it.

As you breathe in,

Acknowledge the gift of your body.

And as you breathe out,

Release any attachment to the idea that you are your body.

It is something you have,

But it is not what you are.

Now,

Bring your awareness to your emotions.

What feelings are present in this moment?

Maybe peace,

Joy,

Or perhaps tension or uncertainty.

Simply notice them without trying to change them.

Observe how you can say,

I feel happy or I feel anxious.

This shows that you are not the emotion itself,

But rather the one experiencing it.

Emotions like waves rise and fall,

But you remain constant like the ocean that holds them.

Take a breath in,

And as you exhale,

Let go of any identification with your emotions.

They are not who you are.

They are simply passing through.

You are the observer.

Let's turn to the mind.

Notice any thoughts moving through.

They might be about your day,

Your plans,

Or random memories.

Let them flow without grasping onto them.

Notice that you can say,

My thoughts.

Just like with the body and emotions,

You are not your thoughts.

You are the one who observes them.

Thoughts come and go,

But the true self remains still.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Release the need to identify with any of these thoughts.

You are the awareness behind them,

Not the thoughts themselves.

Now,

In this space of stillness,

Rest in the awareness that you are not the body,

The emotions,

Not the mind.

You are the presence that observes all of these experiences.

You are the still,

Silent awareness beneath it all.

Feel the peacefulness of this awareness.

It is vast,

Timeless,

And free.

This is the true you.

The part of you that is always calm,

Always grounded,

And always expansive.

As you rest here,

Take a deep breath in,

And slowly exhale,

Feeling the peace and clarity of knowing that you are more than the body,

Emotions,

And mind.

You are the conscious awareness that experiences life free from attachments.

Whenever you are ready,

Bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Feel your body where it rests.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

And gently open your eyes when you feel ready.

Carry this sense of awareness with you throughout your day.

Remember,

You are not your body,

Not your emotions,

And not your mind.

You are the presence that observes them all,

And within that,

You are always at peace.

Thank you for joining me today.

May you continue to experience this inner peace and clarity as you move forward.
