Soulstorm meditations,
Space,
And the awareness of space.
Let's begin with a sitting up posture.
Comfortably finding the right position.
Beginning with inhales and exhales.
Bringing our attention into the body.
On the inhales,
Bringing energy inward.
And on the exhales,
Dropping our awareness down into the earth.
Inhaling,
Energy inward.
Finding tension.
Maybe scanning through the body as we learned.
And on the exhale,
Dropping our awareness down to the core of the earth.
Beginning with the practices that we already know.
As we inhale from the core of the earth,
We fill up the lower abdomen with space.
Allowing the belly to get bigger and relax.
And we exhale,
Dropping our awareness to the core of the earth.
Inhaling and exhaling.
And on your next inhale,
Bringing that energy up into the spine.
A little bit higher,
Traveling upwards to the head.
Noticing the mind.
Dropping tensions from the skull.
Placing the awareness in the back of the head.
Maybe leaning back a tad.
And touching into space.
And the infinite space around you.
Exhaling awareness in the earth.
Below and inhaling.
Bringing energy into the body.
All the way into the head.
Beginning to expand.
Imagining your energy getting bigger.
Expanding.
Right to the edges of your skin.
Taking up space.
And on the next inhale.
Expanding past beyond your skin.
Placing your awareness in the room.
And filling up the entire room.
On your inhales and exhales.
Becoming more aware of the space around you.
And on your next exhale.
Placing your awareness.
Stretching out to take up the whole house,
The building.
Breathing in that earth connect.
Breathing out and touching into space.
On your next inhale.
Working with space.
Working with the entire valley in front of you.
And behind you.
Taking up so much space.
On the next exhale.
Connecting with you.
Expanding your awareness to take up so much space.
Expand thousands of kilometers across the earth.
Thousands of kilometers into the sky.
Noticing the back of your head.
Connecting with infinite space.
Maintaining that expansion and breathing.
Resting in the present moment.
Noticing that when we create space within.
To observe the body release and expand.
This nourishes concentration.
And creates wisdom.
As we inhale.
And exhale.
We open up space.
Relieving the tightness and the struggle.
That sometimes comes with meditation.
Melting into your practice.
Working with your breath.
Staying expanded.
Across thousands of kilometers.
Feeling that lightness of heart.
As the music fades.
Staying with the practice as long as you like.
Noticing how space and the awareness of space.
And your expanded self.
Feel free.
Peaceful.
Centered.
