You've made it to this moment,
And that's no small thing.
Let this be your breath break,
Your reset,
Your quiet yes.
You don't have to do anything right now except listen,
And let hope lead you forward.
Begin by finding a position that feels both relaxed and alert.
Feet on the ground.
Heart open.
Breath steady.
Inhale deeply,
And exhale slowly.
Let's begin.
Notice your body,
From the crown of your head to your shoulders,
To your hands resting softly.
Bring awareness down into your chest.
Feel the quiet strength of your breath down into your belly,
Down into your legs,
Down to your feet,
Planted on solid ground.
You are here,
Supported,
Held,
Ready.
Now,
Turn your attention inward.
There may be noise,
Thoughts,
Doubts,
To-dos,
Fear.
It's okay.
You're human.
Let that noise float past like clouds.
And underneath that,
See if you can hear something quieter,
Something steadier.
The voice of inner hope.
What is it whispering to you?
Maybe it's saying,
You know what you want.
You are allowed to change.
You are strong enough to begin.
Let that voice rise.
Even if it's quiet.
Even if it's shaky.
It still counts.
Now,
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a path.
You don't know exactly where it leads,
But you know it calls to something deep in you.
You take one step.
Maybe it's small.
Maybe it's big.
Maybe it's wobbly.
But it's yours.
You feel the ground hold you.
You feel the air shift.
Something unlocks in you as you move.
With each breath,
Take another step in your mind.
Let these steps represent the real brave action you are ready to take in your life.
No matter how tiny.
A conversation.
A boundary.
A beginning.
Hope is moving through your feet.
Through your breath.
Through your being.

Take in these words.
I don't have to feel ready.
I just have to be willing.
Hope is alive in me.
I am becoming more courageous with every step I take.
Even the smallest motion matters.
My hope leads to action.
And my action creates change.
Take one final breath in deep into your body.
And release it with a soft smile.

And take your next step.
