Morning meditation.

Find a comfortable position and close your eyes.

Right here,

Right now,

You are awake.

Moments tick along and right now,

If you wish,

You can sink inside your body where it can be quiet.

Soften your toes,

Heels,

Calves,

Knees,

Thighs.

Loosen your hips,

Stomach,

Chest,

Shoulders.

Let go of your arms,

Hands,

Fingers.

Loosen your jaw,

Tongue,

Cheeks,

Eyes,

Scalp.

You can notice passing thoughts.

You could follow or just let them go.

Passing thoughts just echoes of how you experienced the past or imagine the future.

Now and now,

You can be quiet inside your body for a while.

Breathing out slowly,

Breathing in loosely.

Breathing out slowly,

Breathing in loosely.

Breathe in with yourself now and now and now.

Breathing out slowly,

Breathing in loosely.

Breathing out slowly,

Breathing in loosely.

Right here,

Right now,

You are awake.

This is your quiet time.

This is your quiet time.

A time to set intentions for today.

Maybe you could choose to do useful things for yourself.

You could feed,

Exercise and rest your body as it takes care of you.

Billions of cells and chemicals and electricity moving in incredible complexity.

Perhaps you could choose to make good effort as you work for your living.

To keep your space comfortable.

To help the people,

Animals and land around you.

Positive,

Strong effort to improve the small part of this complex life that is in your power to influence.

What is your intention for today?

This is your quiet time.

You could choose to think about the many good things that are in your life right now.

That make living easier and more pleasant.

Plentiful food,

Clothing,

A home,

Education and so much more.

All our lives made easier,

Warmer,

Healthier,

More stimulating.

Because of the efforts of humans that lived before we do.

Because of the plentiful resources on this planet.

Now and now you can be quiet inside your body for a while.

Breathing out slowly.
