This is a straightforward breathing practice. The aim is to breathe very gently- small, silent breaths- at a regular pattern. This style of breathing promotes a healthy balance of blood gasses and lower your heart rate. Eyes can be open or closed. It’s better to breathe through your nose. However, if you are unable to, breathe very gently through your mouth with your lips slightly parted. This five-minute rest and breathing helps to restore and renew you.

It will help you to calm your heart and body and reset your energy levels.

Find a comfortable position and rest.

Close your mouth and breathe only through your nose.

We will breathe out for four counts and in for two counts.

Breathe as gently as you find possible.

Small silent breaths.

This is a breathing style that will counteract the fast over breathing that modern life tends to cause.

Use it as often as you can.
