Sit back.
Close your eyes.
Breathe.
Let go of any tension in your body.
Rest back and sink into whatever surface you happen to be lying on.
Let it envelope you in a safe and secure hug.
Exhale.
Relax.
Know that all is well.
You're at the beach with no schedule.
You have all the time in the world.
Inhale the salt air.
Feel the ocean mist settle on your face.
Dewy and fresh.
Walk towards the water's edge.
You can feel your feet sink into the sand.
Your heels push deep with each step.
The water just barely laps up to touch your toes.
Smooth stones press into the bottom of your feet as you step,
Like a strong hand massaging them.
The waves slap against the shore.
Your mind at ease.
Inhale.
You notice sand piper birds.
They dart about here and there.
Some race in and out from the weedy seacrass near the beach path.
Walk.
Breathe.
Enjoy the sights and sounds.
Sit down.
Squish into the sand,
Letting it mold around your curves.
Exhale.
Your toes wiggle and sift the sand,
Letting it run through like an hourglass of time.
It trickles and flows,
Mesmerizing your attention as you watch.
Resting back,
You close your eyes.
Feel the sun's warmth against your face.
In the distance,
You hear a boat whistle,
Very far away.
A calm flows over you as your skin alternates between sun warm and wind cool from the slight breeze rolling off of the water.
Relax.
Find and feel the flow of your breath.
In.
Out.
A smooth,
Fluid flow.
Let it slow as you relax.
It relaxes too.
Let it lengthen.
Both your inhale,
Your exhale,
Becoming longer in length.
Just rest.
Relax and breathe.
Let your body release any tension it may still hold.
Send that next breath to any tense spot.
Visualize the breath as it travels and releases the tightness.
Rest.
Just breathe,
Floating on your breath.
Just hearing the waves lapping against the shore.
That little drone in the background of the music.
Just sink deeper with your breath.
Be at ease.
The body rest resting back long and relaxed.
Flowing on that breath.
Just resting here as long as you like,
Enjoying your breath's flow.
Mentally riding the waves.
Just breathing.
Long,
Slow,
Full breaths.
Relax.
Whenever you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Feeling relaxed,
Refreshed and alert.
Relax.
