Welcome to this New Moon Meditation.
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Whether that's seated on the floor,
On a chair,
Or lying down.
Feel the contact that your body makes with the surface beneath you.
Allow your back to be straight.
Gently close your eyes.
Begin to notice your breath.
Become aware of the sensation of breathing in and out.
Notice the natural rhythm of your breath.
Allow your attention to rest here just for this moment.
Let your body be soft and relaxed.
Notice any sensations,
Temperature in your skin,
Feeling of your clothing.
Come into a state of full awareness.
Be present in this moment.
During the New Moon,
We're in the darkness.
It's a fresh start.
Allow yourself to embrace the mystery,
The stillness.
Be open to change,
To a depth of the old,
To be reborn into something new.
Let your heart remain open and receptive.
What are your deepest desires?
What do you ache for?
Don't search for it.
Just allow it to come to you.
Whatever it is,
Use it to set your intention and allow for change,
For transformation,
For rebirth.
Give yourself permission to pull your wishes from the shams.
Let them grow toward the light.
Give them new life.
Trust.
Breathe light into your intention.
Without the shadow,
Grief and heartache,
Let it leave you like dark smoke.
As you inhale,
Allow this light to grow and expand within you.
As you exhale,
Create space within yourself.
As you continue breathing,
Feel as though the fog has been lifted.
Your intentions are clear now.
You are not just light or shadow.
You are all of it.
You are all of it.
