Open your heart, soften into presence, and reconnect with the healing energy of love and compassion. This heart-centered sound healing session combines the sacred bija mantra YAM with the gentle resonance of a singing bowl – guiding you into a space of openness, balance, and inner peace. In this 24-minute journey, you will be gently led through: a grounding body awareness and breath connection, a short teaching about the Anāhata Chakra (the heart center), a free-flowing 12–15 minute chanting sequence with singing bowl, and a quiet closing to rest, integrate, and reconnect. Let the sound bloom in your chest like a lotus – soft, spacious, and radiant. Whether you chant with me, hum softly, or simply listen, this practice can support emotional healing, forgiveness, and the joy of connection. Strong vibrational effect – give yourself time afterward to rest or journal. From my heart to yours, Monika

Welcome,

Beautiful souls!

So grateful you're here for this chanting circle.

We will create a gentle sacred space to connect with our hearts and let sound guide us inward.

Today we will explore softness,

Spaciousness and presence,

Connecting deeply with the heart chakra,

Our center of love,

Compassion and balance.

We will chant intuitively for about 15 to 20 minutes.

I also play the Anahata singing bowl,

Allowing us to feel the vibrations deeply and let them settle within.

You're invited to chant along,

Hum softly or simply listen and receive.

And then I invite you to take a comfortable seat,

Either on a chair or on the floor,

Wherever you feel stable and at ease.

Close your eyes,

If that feels safe and comfortable for you,

Feel the ground beneath you,

Firm,

Steady and supportive.

Let your spine rise gently,

Imagining soft lengthening all the way from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.

Relax your shoulders away from your ears,

Bring your awareness to your breath,

Just noticing how it flows in and out.

Let's take a few conscious breaths together.

Let's inhale deeply through the nose and sigh it out through the mouth.

Again,

Inhaling and exhaling,

Letting go of any tension.

One more deep inhale and a long exhale.

Now allow your breath to settle into its natural rhythm,

Gently flowing in and out through your nose,

Feel your chest softly expand and release and sense the spaciousness unfolding around your heart.

Take a moment to listen inward,

How your heart feels right now,

What you'd love to welcome into your heart today and gently set an intention for our chanting practice today.

Is there something your heart longs for,

Perhaps softness,

Forgiveness,

Courage or simply more spaciousness?

Or is there someone you'd like to send loving energy to?

Hold this intention gently in your heart as we chant.

Before we dive into chanting,

Let's connect a bit deeper with the energy we are connected with today.

The heart chakra called Anahata in Sanskrit sits in the center of your chest.

It's the bridge between our lower physical chakras and the higher spiritual ones.

This chakra embodies love,

Compassion,

Forgiveness and balance.

It's the center where we feel deeply connected to ourselves,

To others and to the world around us.

When the heart chakra is in harmony,

We feel open,

Loving and able to both give and receive love freely.

Our relationships feel more balanced and we carry a sense of inner peace.

When this energy center is blocked or out of balance,

We might feel closed off,

Lonely or guarded and sometimes we hold on to old wounds or find it hard to trust or forgive.

The sound Yam helps to open and harmonize the heart chakra.

Its vibrations soften our defenses and invite spaciousness and warmth into our chest and our entire being.

As we chant today,

You might imagine a soft green or pink light blowing in your chest,

Expanding with each sound.

Allow the mantra to gently dissolve anything heavy or tense in your heart.

You can also visualize your heart opening like a lotus flower,

Unfolding gently with each vibration.

There's no right or wrong experience.

Simply allow the vibrations to work within you.

And if you'd like,

You can also include a gentle hand gesture.

So it's called Padma Mudra.

It's Lotus Mudra.

You can bring your hands together at your heart,

Palms touching.

And then keep the base of your palms,

Your thumbs and your little fingers connected,

While your other fingers gently spread open like the petals of a blossoming lotus.

You can hold this mudra still or gently open and close your fingers in a soft flowing movement as we chant.

Or you can simply rest your hands on your chest or in your lap or on your knees.

Whatever feels most comfortable for you.

So before we begin,

Let me guide you through the sound of Yam.

It's a short ee followed by a long open ah sound and the soft gentle humming mm.

And I'll also play the singing bowl now so we can find the right tone together.

Just allow its vibrations to blend with your voice and deepen your experience.

So let's inhale.

Allow yourself a few gentle breaths here.

Notice how the sound and vibration settle in your body.

And when you're ready,

We will flow into the full chanting together.

Let the sound flow naturally.

There's no need to worry about pace or counting.

Simply follow your breath and the rhythm that feels right.

Whenever you feel ready,

Allow the mantra to rise naturally from your breath.

Flowing gently and freely like a soft river of sound.

Let's inhale.

Sensations,

Emotions or shifts within you.

Connected to your heart.

Gently allow your breath to deepen.

Allow your breath to flow into your belly.

Gently grounding you.

Bring your hands gently together in front of your heart.

Let's close with an intention for this day.

May we carry the peace and connection we've cultivated today into whatever lies ahead for each of us.

Whether it's the day,

The evening or the quiet hours of the night.

Stay connected with this peaceful energy of your heart space.

Gently rub your palms together and place them softly over your closed eyes.

Open your eyes to the warm and soft darkness of your palms.

Then slowly lower your hands.

Thank you so much for being here,

Being present together with me and diving into the magic of sound.

Namaste.
