Hello and welcome to this five minute meditation.
This meditation can be done morning,
Noon or night.
It is completely up to you but it's a nice little break from reality.
Take five minutes to just decompress,
Prepare yourself and feel into your body before taking on the rest of your day.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Whether that be lay down or seated.
I want you to ensure that your posture is aligned,
Your back is straight and you really feel into the body in this moment,
Allowing yourself to really relax.
Once you've settled into your comfortable place I invite you to take a nice deep breath in through the nose and just let it all out of the mouth.
And again taking that nice deep cleansing breath in through the nose and out of the mouth.
Take a sigh of relief,
Release everything.
Allow yourself to center,
Close your eyes and just focus in on the sound of my voice.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through the nose and slowly exhale from the nose.
Allow your breath to begin to slow naturally with each cycle.
Make every exhale just that little bit deeper and really allow yourself to slow down,
Calm down,
Find space in this moment.
Feel your tension melt away as you gradually relax deeper with every breath.
Now taking the focus away from those deep breaths,
Just allow the breath to self-regulate,
Allow it to do its own thing and bring your attention to your heart center,
The center of the chest,
Core of your being.
I invite you to place your hands here in this space if you so wish.
Now bring to mind all that you are grateful for as you begin to list through these things,
Big or small.
Feel the warmth of your heart space grow,
Feel that loving light pulsate and enjoy the pleasant feeling gratitude gives you.
Feel it wash away your tension,
Your negativity and when you're ready,
End your gratitude focus with the following affirmation.
Thank you for the many things I have been given in this life.
May these blessings multiply as I continue to notice and give thanks for them.
Take this gratitude and this warmth and love into the rest of your day,
Into the rest of every day.
Thank you so much for joining me.
I'll see you again soon.
