Hello and welcome to this daily practice.
I'm Molly Williams and I am so happy to be here with you today.
Starting to drop into this space and moment,
Heavying the eyelids or finding a gentle focus and just tuning into the body and mind.
How are you arriving to this space?
Starting to make subtle shifts within the body,
Smoothing the forehead and the brows,
Allowing the whole face to soften.
Maybe bringing the chin down and back just slightly,
Creating space in the back of the neck,
A long intentional spine,
Dropping the shoulders to expand the chest,
Finding a sense of alignment in the body.
As you come into alignment,
Feeling more present,
Maybe even saying within,
I am here now,
I am here now,
I am here now.
Giving yourself permission to be here now,
Not in the past or in the future,
Here in this moment,
Softening the belly,
Grounding to the earth through your seat,
Allowing the legs to relax and be at ease and finding a comfortable placement for your hands.
Maybe resting on the body or facing upwards,
Signaling to the universe that you are ready to give and receive.
Starting to breathe deeply into the body,
Becoming a witness to each and every breath,
Noticing its depth and expansion,
Following the breath with intention and love.
Using the Tonglin Method on the inhale,
Allowing yourself to feel any pain or suffering,
Taking this into the body and mind.
And then on the exhale,
Releasing only light,
Compassion and love.
Inhaling,
Feeling any emotions,
Bringing this into the body and mind.
And then exhaling out of the mouth,
Transforming this pain into hope with compassion and love.
Inhaling,
Maybe visualizing this breath as a darker color.
And exhaling,
Breathing out light,
A glowing light of deep compassion.
Inhaling,
Feeling all of the pain or negative emotions today.
And exhaling,
Transforming it with infinite compassion and unconditional love.
Taking one more breath in,
This time feeling the light and love that you have created.
And exhaling,
Sharing this positive energy with the world.
Starting to visualize that you are seated on a bench.
Maybe there is a scene that comes to mind,
A backdrop,
Or maybe this bench is surrounded by white light.
Feeling the structure of the bench,
Its edges,
Noticing the colors,
The details.
And now starting to see that someone is approaching your bench.
You immediately recognize this presence.
It's you,
Only it's the you that you hope to become.
Allowing this presence to sit beside you on the bench,
Without words just taking in their presence.
What do you look like?
What is your energy like?
Allowing yourself this rare gift of being able to see the person that you want to become.
To press fast forward and take in this future self.
Beginning to open the conversation with this self.
Asking what is your life like?
Or any questions that feel important in this moment.
Allowing this self to offer wisdom to you.
Maybe steps or clues,
Insight.
What messages are they sharing with you?
Feeling this self place their hands in yours.
Immediately sensing the connection between you.
Maybe experiencing an abundance of love and gratitude.
This version of you is extending a thank you.
Thank you for taking the steps that you took.
Thank you for believing in who you could become.
For not shying away from your potential.
Thank you.
And now starting to sense another presence moving towards the bench.
This presence is a bit younger.
The version of you a few years ago or a decade maybe.
Allowing them to sit on the other side of you.
Taking you in.
Noticing your details and who you are.
This younger self starting to see what it is that they could become.
The manifestations that have been created.
The milestones and prayers that have been answered.
Reminding you that while there are still more steps to take.
You have already taken so many.
You have worked so hard to be exactly where you are today.
Placing your hands in this younger self's hands.
Feeling this connection.
And sharing your love with them.
Feeling gratitude and love.
Honoring this younger self's journey and their growth.
The steps and path they've taken.
All that they've learned.
And letting this younger self share gratitude with you.
For your strength and perseverance.
Soaking up this praise and recognition.
As you sit on this bench allowing the presences around you to merge within you.
Knowing that you hold all versions.
All sense of self.
You are expansive.
You are infinite.
And you have the power to become who it is that you want to be.
You know this because you've used this power already.
You've arrived here.
To this moment in life.
Exactly where you are meant to be.
Feeling into this for a quiet moment.
Allowing this power to continue to grow.
Honoring all that you are and all that you will become.
When you are ready bringing the palms together in prayer position for our final closing.
