Welcome.
This is a short grounding meditation for moments when life feels chaotic.
Whether you're overwhelmed at home,
Navigating a tough workday,
Or just need a pause,
This is our moment to come back to ourselves.
So when you're ready,
Let's begin by noticing your breath.
Breathing through your nose,
Out through your mouth,
Noticing the filling and the releasing of your tummy.
You don't need to change your breath.
Just observe.
With each breath,
Feel yourself settling deeper and deeper into this moment.
There is nothing you need to do right now.
Nothing that needs to be fixed.
You are safe.
If you feel comfortable,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Feel the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Let your weight be fully supported.
Bring awareness to your feet,
Your hands,
And your breath.
As you breathe in,
Breathe out,
Get to know your breath.
What does it look like?
What color is your breath right now?
What's the shape of your breath?
Going back to your feet and your hands,
See them in your mind clearly,
And then allow the shape to fade away so that all you're left with is pure feeling,
Pure energy.
Individual toes and fingers merging into one pure energy,
Taking on the shape and shapelessness of your breath.
Now do the same with your entire body.
Allow all your edges to soften,
All your lines to blur,
And allow yourself to fill the space around you.
You're free.
You are free to fill that space around you and to be as full as you need to be,
As shapeless as you need to be.
As you continue to breathe in,
The words begin to form.
In the middle of chaos,
I return to stillness.
I don't need all the answers right now.
I just need this breath.
This moment is enough.
In the middle of chaos,
I return to stillness.
I don't need all the answers right now.
I just need this breath.
This moment is enough.
I just need this breath.
This moment is enough.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Gently bring your awareness back into the room.
Maybe wiggle your toes,
Shimmy your shoulders,
Wiggle your fingers.
If your eyes are closed,
Begin to slowly open them.
And I hope you carry this grounded presence with you into whatever comes next.
Thank you again for making the choice to be here and to sharing this space with me.
Wishing you well.
