When life feels overwhelming, it can be powerful to remember that everything is temporary. In this 5-minute meditation, we explore the nature of change through breath, story, and silence. Ground yourself in the truth that both struggle and joy come and go—and that there is strength in letting go.

Welcome Take a moment to settle in,

Let your eyes close gently Let your breath find its rhythm This meditation is for the moments in life that feel hard,

The ones that feel like too much When you're overwhelmed or burdened or just not sure how you'll keep going Let's start by simply noticing the breath And breathing out Nothing to fix or change Just noticing,

Just being Life by its nature is always shifting Everything is moving,

Everything is in flux,

Everything is changing And that includes this moment,

However intense it might feel Just like joy and love,

Sadness and fear,

Even strength and struggle,

This too shall pass I'd like to share a moment with you Not long ago I was in a steam room,

My goal was to stay for 15 minutes Around the 12 minute mark things got intense,

I could feel my heart pounding Anxiety was rising,

My thoughts starting to spiral And in that discomfort I reminded myself,

This is temporary I visualized the moment I would walk out of that room Cool air,

A relief The cold plunge that waited just outside And I stayed just a little longer,

Not because it got easier,

But because I remembered it wouldn't last This physical moment,

This emotional moment,

It's not forever It's not who you are It's just a wave passing through Let's take the next couple of minutes to simply rest in that knowing Everything is changing Everything is moving Even this As we close,

You might gently wiggle your fingers or toes Notice what's here now You've just practiced something powerful The ability to stay with what is and the wisdom to remember what passes Carry that with you into the rest of your day Thank you for being here
