It's early in the morning,
And you've decided to take a walk by the river,
Listening to the sounds of the river,
Walking,
Listening,
Listening to the sounds of the birds,
The insects,
The gentle movement of the water,
You notice a turning into the forest,
And you head towards it,
And as you're walking through the forest,
You admire all the trees,
You enjoy the dappled sunlight,
The smell of the damp earth,
The sounds of the leaves and the acorns falling from the trees,
Hitting the ground,
You walk,
You notice a decay,
The fallen,
Rotten limbs of the trees,
The carpet of leaves fallen,
The twigs and sticks,
The spiders' webs,
The sound of squirrels scampering,
And you walk,
You breathe deeply the smell of the forest,
And you feel good,
And you walk,
And just ahead of you,
You notice an opening in a wall,
It's like an old pipeline,
Maybe eight foot high,
Five foot wide,
It's quite a big tunnel,
And you decide to explore,
And as you start walking through the tunnel,
You can see the other end,
You can see the light,
And you walk,
And you smell the damp,
The hoisty smell,
And feel water underneath your feet,
And feel the coldness of the tunnel,
And as you're walking through the tunnel,
There's a sense of excitement,
Adventure,
And as you exit the tunnel,
You realise that you are in another land,
And you look around,
And all around you is the horizon,
Panoramic view,
A broad space,
And you take a look around,
Slowly taking in all the view,
This panoramic view,
This wide open space,
And you hear the sound of drumming,
And you decide to follow the sound,
And as you get nearer to the sound of the drumming,
You notice that there's a large thicket,
A hedge of brambles,
There's a small opening,
And you decide to crawl through this opening,
Towards the sound of the drums,
And as you reach the other side,
You realise that you are in a wide open space,
Like a courtyard,
And in this courtyard,
There are six stone chairs,
In a circle,
And one chair sat in the middle,
The drumming is very close,
And you notice six figures slowly entering the space,
And see who your figures are,
This could be family members past,
Sages from the east,
Deities,
Spiritual teachers,
Ones that you have known and lost,
Notice who these people are for you,
Six figures,
Coming and taking their seat,
On the stone chairs,
There may be faces you don't recognise,
There may be faces you can't see yet,
You have a sense that all these figures are here for you,
And that the central chair is yours,
You feel the excitement within your heart,
As you walk towards the central chair,
And take your seat,
You have a sense that each one of these figures has something for you,
Wisdom,
Power,
Strength,
Love,
Compassion,
And although there are no words spoken,
You know that each one of these figures is transmitting these things to you,
Sit and receive,
Receive the power,
Strength,
The wisdom from this circle of ancestors,
Ancestral wisdom,
Ancestral love,
Ancestral compassion,
And feel this energy within this circle,
Your teachers,
Your spirit guides,
Anything that you need is right here in this circle,
Anything you need to know is right here in this circle,
Quietly,
Quietly listen,
Quietly receive,
No words spoken,
Receive all the wisdom and the power from this circle,
Receive that energy that's being transmuted onto you,
Quieten the mind about this,
Quieten the whispers of the mind,
And open your heart for this to be true,
Open your heart for this to be true,
Allow for this to be true,
Allow the possibility that this can be true,
Don't close it down,
Listen,
Receive,
Be here with the ancestors,
Receive this blessing,
Don't shut this down,
Through doubt and negativity,
Allow the possibility that this might be true,
Open your heart,
Open your mind,
Who are your figures,
Who are your spiritual guides and teachers,
If you can't see the faces,
Feel the energy,
Feel this transmission of power,
Love,
Compassion,
Wisdom,
Breathe deeply,
Breathe the energy of this circle,
Knowing that this place is here whenever you need it,
Whenever you need to access something,
This space is here,
If you need strength or understanding of a situation,
Come here quietly and ask and receive,
Can you allow for this to be true,
Can you give yourself permission to be a little more open minded,
To drop the barriers,
The walls of what's possible,
Feel the energy of the drumming,
The energy of the circle,
Feel the protection,
The absolute wealth of resources within this circle,
And you know now it is time to leave,
You stand and you turn your head towards the hedge,
Turn in,
Thanking the circle,
Thanking your ancestors,
Your teachers,
Your guides,
Crawling through the hedge to the other side and heading back towards the tunnel,
Hearing the drums becoming quieter,
Walking through the tunnel to the other side,
You find yourself back in the woods,
Looking at the trees,
Looking at the decay,
Smelling the smells,
Feeling something different within,
Feeling a confidence,
Something has just happened there,
And whenever you feel ready,
Open your eyes.
