Hello and welcome back to Mindful Mini.
Today we're going on a very special journey where we'll discover a magical mirror that shows us how wonderful we really are.
This mirror helps us to see all the amazing qualities we have inside,
Like kindness,
Creativity,
And strength.
So find a comfy spot to sit or lie down.
While you're there,
I invite you to close your eyes and we'll begin our adventure.
First,
Let's get nice and cozy.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Enjoying the air in through your nose and slowly breathe out through your mouth.
Feel your body relax just like you're sinking into a warm,
Soft blankie.
Let's do that again.
Take a deep breath in.
And a deep breath out,
Letting go of any tensions or worries.
One more time.
Breathe in deeply and let it all go.
Feeling your body getting softer and more relaxed with each breath.
Now imagine a warm,
Glowing light at the top of your head.
This light is very gentle and kind.
It's traveling down through your body.
It moves down to your forehead,
Relaxing all the little muscles.
Then it moves to your cheeks and your chin,
All the way down to your neck.
Feel the light spreading across your shoulders and your arms.
All the way to your fingertips,
Making you feel warm and calm.
Next,
The light travels down to your chest,
Your tummy,
And your back.
It moves down your legs all the way to the tips of your toes.
Now your whole body is glowing with this warm,
Gentle light.
And as you feel completely relaxed,
You're ready to explore.
Imagine that you're walking along a beautiful forest path.
The ground is soft beneath you and you can hear the gentle rustling of the leaves around you.
The air is fresh and there's a little bit of a spark in the air.
As if tiny stars are guiding you.
As you walk,
You notice something shining ahead.
You step closer and see a large,
Magical mirror standing in the middle of the forest.
This isn't an ordinary mirror.
It's a mirror of kind words.
It only shows the most wonderful,
Amazing parts of who you are.
You take a step closer and you look into the mirror.
As you gaze into it,
You see your own reflection smiling back at you.
But wait,
There's something else.
You start to see glowing words appear all around your reflection.
The first word is kind.
It shines so brightly you feel that kindness filling your heart.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,
Feel the kindness spreading all through your body.
Like a warm hug.
Now,
Another word appears.
This time it's smart.
It sparkles and shines so brightly you realize just how smart you are.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,
Feel the word smart filling your mind,
Making you feel proud of all the things you know and can learn.
Next,
You see the word creative.
Glowing in beautiful colors.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,
Feel that creative energy flowing through you,
Helping you feel excited about all the amazing ideas you have.
Now,
A very strong word appears.
It's the word brave.
As you look at it,
You remember all the times you've been brave,
Even when things were a little scary.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,
Feel that bravery filling your heart,
Making you feel strong and fearless.
More and more words begin to appear.
Helpful.
Friendly.
Loving.
Patient and happy.
Each word shines brightly,
Reminding you of all the wonderful qualities you have inside of you.
Take a moment to look at each word and let it fill your heart with happiness and pride.
Now,
As you stand in front of this magical mirror,
Say to yourself,
I am kind.
I am smart.
I am creative.
I am brave.
I am proud of who I am.
Take a deep breath in and breathe out,
Letting all these words fill you up with confidence and joy.
Feel your heart glowing with all the kind words.
Just like a shining star,
Remember this mirror shows you the truth about who you are.
You are amazing exactly the way you are.
It's time to say goodbye to the magical mirror for now,
But don't worry.
You can always come back whenever you need to feel strong and confident or you just want to remind yourself of how special you are.
Slowly take a deep breath in and breathe out,
Letting your body feel relaxed and calm.
When you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes and slowly opening your eyes and noticing how wonderful you feel.
You did an amazing job today and I hope you remember all the kind words that live inside of you.
