Sit tall and proud of who you are.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in through our nose.

Pause,

Then blow your breath out as if you were blowing softly on a candle flame.

Let's do that one more time.

Deep breath in through your nose.

Pause,

Blow the breath out nice and slow.

Close your eyes or feel free to take your gaze to your lap or to the floor.

Notice sounds outside the room.

Those sounds may be in the hallway or the room next door,

Or they could be outside the building.

Are there many sounds or are there so few that you really have to listen hard?

Try to choose just one sound to focus on.

Notice how the sound changes.

See if you can stay with just that one sound for another 10 seconds.

10 seconds.

Now feel yourself sitting in your chair again.

Take a moment to check in with your body.

Can you name a sensation you notice in your body?

Can you name an emotion that you feel?

Try doing this practice anytime you are worried,

Nervous,

Frustrated,

Or just feeling stressed out.

When you are ready,

Feel free to open your eyes.

Elena,

Put your hand up.

Okay.

Meet your Teacher
