This is a mindful breathing practice called elevator breath.

Sit tall and proud of who you are.

Your eyes can close or gaze fall softly to the floor.

Place one hand on your belly,

Under your belly button.

Imagine under your hand is a ball of light.

It can be any color you choose.

Notice your breath.

Now purposely take a deep breath in and imagine the ball of light traveling up through the center of your body,

Just like an elevator traveling to the top floor of a building.

Pause your breath at the top.

Breathe out and let your ball of light slowly travel back down through the center of your body to the bottom floor.

Let's do this together two more times.

You can keep your hand on your belly or place it in your lap.

Breathe in,

Let the ball of light rise through the center of your body nice and slow.

Up,

Up,

Up.

Pause at the top.

Breathe out slowly.

Let the ball of light down,

Down,

Down to the bottom.

Breathe in,

Lifting the ball of light,

Maybe noticing your energy lifting or shifting as you breathe in.

Pause at the top.

Breathing out,

Letting the ball of light travel slowly,

Slowly back down,

Maybe noticing any shifting energy as you do this.

Just take a normal breath in and out.

Notice how you feel.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and lift your head.
