It's Michelle with Mindful HR Services and welcome to Letting Go of Your Day meditation recording.
Get yourself settled into a comfortable posture.
If you're sitting,
Ideally your feet are flat beneath you,
But you're welcome to do the standing or even in a laying down posture of some sort,
Whatever makes you feel good.
Take your posture and commit to that shape.
You are welcome to close your eyes or lower your gaze and simply focus on the sound of my voice.
Notice the connection your body has with the surface beneath you.
Notice the parts that are connected and the parts that are not.
Just bring some awareness to your body.
Shifting your focus to your breath.
Notice your inhales and exhales.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest and belly.
Simply notice.
Continue these nice and easy breaths,
Just as you are.
Easy in and easy out.
Finding gratitude for all your workday has provided the good and even the not so good parts.
Be compassionate with yourself.
You did your best and now it is time to let go.
What happened is of the past.
Let go of the doing.
Let go of the managing.
Let go of the processing and the analyzing.
Let go of any struggles or any successes.
Your workday is done and now it is time for you.
You need not give any more of yourself to your work.
Can you let go?
Can you allow yourself to let go?
Will you let go?
Will you allow yourself to let go?
When?
When will you let go?
Starting with your nice and easy breaths.
Allowing these questions to settle.
There's no judgment here if you're not ready to let go.
It's not easy to let go.
You can continue to stay here for as long as you like,
Allowing this time for you,
Allowing for this period of transition,
Or you continue with the rest of your day.
