This 13-minute meditation uses visualization and affirmations to connect to each energy center along your Sushumna Nadi, your main energy channel, also known as your spinal cord. Blocks and imbalances among the chakras can create physical and emotional symptoms, so bringing them into alignment and harmony can improve your overall well-being. Hello,

My name is London and I'll be guiding you through this Chakra Balancing meditation.

Make your way into a comfortable position.

You can be seated or lying down.

Just find a posture that allows for the longest spine.

If you're seated I recommend bringing a block or a pillow or a rolled-up blanket underneath your sits bones,

Allowing your knees to fall below your hips to reach that full length of your spine.

And then settle in to this space.

Allow yourself this next few minutes of not having anywhere to go or anything to do but being right here.

Notice your breath,

A natural cadence.

Notice where the movement of your breath lies within your body,

In your belly and diaphragm or in your chest and shoulders.

And then become aware of your mind.

Notice how you're feeling in this moment.

Calm and relaxed,

Anxious,

Restless and meet yourself exactly where you are.

You don't need to be anything different and sit with that.

Now bring your focus to the base of your spine,

Your tailbone and visualize a red light,

A red glow.

With each inhale the glow deepens in color.

With each exhale it expands.

Eventually that glow rushes down your legs,

Up into your arms,

Up into the crown of your head,

Sending grounded energy throughout your body.

Say silently to yourself,

I trust more and I fear less.

I release any doubts and fears.

I am safe.

Now bring your attention to right below the low abdomen,

Between your hips.

Visualize an orange glow.

With each inhale that glow deepens and with each exhale the glow expands,

Brighter,

Reaching down your legs,

Up your body,

Through your arms,

Sending sensual and creative energy throughout your body.

Repeat silently to yourself,

I am in touch with my feelings and emotions.

I express my emotions in a healthy manner.

Bring your focus to your solar plexus,

Right underneath the rib cage in the center of your abdomen and visualize a yellow glow.

That yellow color deepens with each inhale and that glow burns brighter,

Reverberating through your body with each exhale,

Allowing strength and power to wash over you.

Repeat silently to yourself,

I am strong.

I am confident in all that I do.

I release all judgment of myself and of others.

Now bring your attention to your heart and visualize a green ball of light.

This green color grows deeper with each inhale and with each exhale that glow expands,

Filling your body with loving energy.

Repeat to yourself,

I am worthy of love.

I am grateful for all the challenges that help me to transform and open up to love.

I forgive myself and I forgive others.

I accept things as they are.

Bring your attention to your throat and visualize a light blue glow.

That blue glow glow deepens with each inhale and expands with each exhale.

That glow washes over your body with intentional truth.

Repeat to yourself,

I hear and speak the truth.

I am expressing myself with clear intent.

My voice matters.

I know when it is time to listen.

Bring your attention to the space between your eyebrows,

To your third eye.

Visualize an indigo glow,

Dark bluish purple.

With each inhale,

That glow deepens.

With each exhale,

That glow expands,

Sending clarity and intuitive energy throughout your body.

Repeat to yourself,

I always honor and follow my intuition.

I am a conscious creator of my own reality.

All that I need is within me.

Now bring your focus to the crown of your head.

Visualize a purple glow.

With each inhale,

That glow deepens.

And with each exhale,

It expands,

Flooding your body with light,

With consciousness,

With peace.

Say to yourself,

I am one with all that is.

I see the divine light in everyone.

I seek to understand and learn from my life experiences.

Everything is unfolding exactly as it should in my life.

Now visualize all seven chakras glowing brightly.

Red,

Orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

Indigo,

And purple.

Filling your body equally.

All of them burn at the same brightness.

Bring your focus back into your body.

Notice the contact between your body and the earth underneath you.

Be aware of how you feel in your body and how you feel in your mind.

Gently blink your eyes open.

Whenever you're feeling unbalanced,

Blocked,

Come back to this meditation.
