Good morning,
My name is London and I will be guiding you through this meditation.
To begin this meditation centered around gratitude,
We'll begin in a comfortable position,
Whatever sounds good to you this morning,
Lying down,
Sitting up,
Ideally a position in which your spine is at its longest and your breath is at its fullest,
Let your eyelids grow heavy and begin to notice your breath,
Your natural effortless breath,
Find the movement of your breath within your body and if you notice your breath sneaking up into your shoulders and your neck,
Focus on keeping all of that relaxed,
Sending your inhale down into your diaphragm and into your belly,
Begin to think about something from your day yesterday that makes you look forward to today,
Think of something that you believe in,
That gives you hope each and every day,
Think of a privilege now you've taken for granted,
Recall a breakdown that led you to a breakthrough,
Take a deep breath in,
Filling up your entire body with love,
With peace,
With joy,
With all good things,
As you let your breath go,
Let everything else go that you've been holding on to,
Doesn't serve you,
Repeat silently to yourself,
I am at peace with my past,
I am deeply satisfied with my present and I am excited about my future,
Take this feeling of gratitude,
Of peace,
Of presence into the rest of your day and share it with those that you encounter.
